The majority of the reviews/stars here are fake.

This plugin will not work. I tried on different types of posts/pages, with different types of media to the same result. nothing. I have a conventional WordPress 6.6.2 setup, no weird configs, just straight out of the box on a conventional wp shared hosting account.

I realize that support is not available on unpaid accounts, but if the plugin does not work at all, it is just a dud. and a scammy way to force people to upgrade to the paid service.

If that is what you want bplugins llc then do not offer the free version, just say “only paid version available”, I understand the need to make money but being a tease is wasting everyones time.

definitely do not waste your time with this plugin ( I would avoid the paid version just as well, since scammy companies are scamming wether or not you pay.)

Perfect player for basic needs and a bit more than that. Optionally, purchase the premium edition to get everything that’s possible. Works smoothly and configuration is a no-brainer. 5 stars.

not a bad plugin, even for free. but they add so many links and advertisements in the wordpress admin for you to buy pro version. Pretty annoying and not worth it.

Does what it says on the box elegantly providing all the control I needed to publish videos. I was looking for a way to easily resize the video player and specify what controls I wanted to appear on the video player. Was delighted that the ability to toggle the download video option was off by default as that was my primary need.

I would have rated this 5 stars if

• If I could place the video easily using the editor without using shortcodes. Shortcodes are easy enough so this is a very minor point.
• If the settings for the plugin were in the main settings area of wordpress admin area to keep it all together – but many might disagree … has no impact on the utility of the tool itself though

I get that there has to be pro features, but when you restrict the entire plugin to only be able to use internal files in order to sell more I will not use it and I will not give good reviews. To be perfectly clear, you cannot host videos from external sites which is a basic feature of any website. This forces you to spend gigabytes and gigabytes on your limited hosted service. No thanks!

Autoplay is not working on many devices. I have checked all the conditions for each browser and tested other plugins which DO autoplay.

In all honesty, I could have just used one of those plugins but I preferred the styling of yours – however that’s pointless if it wont autoplay which will require a refund.

Is there the ability to manually add parameters to videos like so:
playsinline autoplay mute current=”0″ speed=”0″

I paid for the pro version but when I log into my account, none of my purchases show to raise a ticket.

The freemium version lets you configure a YouTube video, but won’t actually play it. I didn’t test Vimeo, so I’m not sure what the status is for that platform. If it’s not supported, then the plugin should at least block configuring YouTube.

Contacted vendor in the support forum (multiple requests) to confirm support for YouTube in the freemium version. They declined to state the support status in the freemium version (but they did say that it’s supported in the pro version).

I don’t think it should be so difficult to get a clear answer on support for a major platform.

Player is not responsive

I took the plunge and went for the pro version because I wanted the features that were not included in the free version, notably AMS-S3 hosting for my videos. I have rated the pro version of this plugin as 4 STAR only because it did not work when installed.

Credit must be given to the developers for the support they gave in fixing the issue. It now works flawlessly. It is a shame it did not work that way when it was installed.

If you really need a third party plugin for your videos, you shouldn’t go wrong with this plugin.

Thanks, Raju, for patiently trying to help me by changing something in the plugin and updating it. I tried to email you that the shifting I described is no longer happening but the email wasn’t delivered to you. I received an email in which was said it was “550-JunkMail rejected”. Though the flash remains for the portrait filmed videos, to me this plugin is still a great plugin. I’ve not had any other problem using it. I so like that it’s simple and easy to use. Thank you for creating and maintaining it!

This guy is the future of WordPress plugins. The interface is the very definition of simplicity and everything just works right out of the box. Anyone who objects to paying $30 for this plugin is nuts.

This is a very nice player to embed in your pages. The options are very limited in the free version though, and a paid version costs $30, which is a bit too much for a non profit. One minor bug: when the MP3 in the player is longer than an hour, the hour is not listed. So a duration of 2:26:34 is listed as 26:34. This looks a bit clumsy. I hope it can be fixed. I’m sure it can, because it looks like a very simple thing to fix.

I gave it two stars because it sure looks like it would do what I wanted it to do. But… It uses the guttenburg block thing. That is the most confusing mess of crap that wordpoop ever did. So since I can not use the classic editor I can not use this plugin.

Had issues with hiding controls. Now the option is there, but auto play doesn’t work on IOS!! If hiding controls work and the plug-in functions on IOS (like it did before) it would be 5 star perfect. Please fix ASAP !

Whatever issues I was having initially have now been fixed. This plug-in is great !!

I completely regret purchasing this plug in.

The first problem was that I needed to uninstall it because I was having issues. I went to reinstall it and my activation key wouldn’t work and said it was already in use. The dev had to login to my WordPress to fix it! Not a good start.

Then the other main problem was it was causing issues in my WordPress backend when trying to write or edit a post. It was loading a file from another domain (belonging to the dev) that was giving a 404 error. It was causing my write post page to take a minute or so to completely load. This plugin is just a mess.

Here is the error from another domain:

error.mp3 net:: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
loading.gif net:: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

The plugin also makes a ton of requests to other domains on your site which slows loading down.

I contacted support and they said they would give me a refund but then disappeared and I received no refund or further communication. They do promise a refund if there is an issue.
