Even if you use it for your personal blog, with no ads or sevices sold, and choose to use the free version, Aksimet wants you to enter your full creddit card information. This is ridicilous. Why would I register my credit card info if I choose the “no payment” option?
Edit:
Sorry, I thought I commented to “Aksimet” plugin. Your plugin is perfectly fine. You require no payments, thanks for the good plugin. ?“Easy HTTPS Redirection (SSL)” is a good plugin.

This plugin works perfectly! I knew I could force SSL by playing with the .htaccess file but I didn’t want to mess things up. This plugin does it all for me and works like a charm. Thanks!

Worked like a charm on one of my websites and I’m about to add it to another. Would recommend

Не вздумайте ставить эту помойку, ваш сайт упадет в вечный ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Sadly, this doesn’t work with NearlyFreeSpeech, nor does regular .htaccess directives for redirecting HTTPS. Luckily, I know how to manually disable a plugin (by deleting it via FTP) and how to change the .htaccess file via FTP as well.
I suppose it’s not the plugin author’s fault though, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 1.

on 4/7 I erroneously reported an issue with the plugin.
After downgrade to WP 5.0.2 – it worked well as had previously been the case

I’ve used this on several sites and the only time I ever had a problem was when I did something wrong. I just added it to a site I’ve been working on and it’s absolutely flawless. Easily the best SSL plugin available.

I installed it on a live site where I had trouble with enabling https before. I tested on a sandbox site first, just to be familiar with the settings and how to uninstall it quickly if needed. But I was pleasantly surprised when EVERYTHING worked out of the box. This is a multisite, with two domains. Enabling the plugin on one site covered the entire thing. I did find that I had a few “info” notices on Chrome instead of the “lock” icon, which seems to mean that there’s some content that is not secure. So I decided to network enable the plugin, and then I turned on the static content setting for each site. That did the trick. If there’s an easier way, hopefully someone will tell me ?? but overall I am super pleased….especially that my site wasn’t down for even a moment.

This plugin should only be used by people that know how to use a computer and understand a lot about websites and how to use FTP. I’ve brought my 1 star to 3 stars because the plugin support was quicker and more helpful than the wordpress support.

Other plug-ins did NOT work, but this one did! I highly recommend it!

Love it. One click and it’s done. Thanks!

For me it seems to be a great and easy solution to redirect a site to https, as long as the site is not part of a multisite / multinetwork installation of WordPress, where not every site should be redirected to https.
This is, because the plugin writes not a domain sepcific, but a general redirect condition for all domains, into the .htaccess-file of the WordPress-installation.
You can make a workaround for this by editing the .htaccess-file after plugin setting, but this is only an option for experts.

Does what it claims, with options to force HTTPS on the whole site or partial. Works on multisite unlike some.

Exactly the plugin i was looking for. Install, set and it works. Great job.

Installed, activated, clicked to forward all to https and EVERYTHING works! I have my fancy new green lock to go with my SSL cert now.

After HOURS on the phone with BlueHost support, lots of .htaccess edits and multiple opinions on my the installed wildcard SSL cert would cover one of my subdomains and not the other, I winged it and installed Easy HTTPS Redirection. Wish I’d tried days sooner. Works like a charm!

THANK YOU AND WELL DONE!
I wasn’t sure if this was the plugin I needed to start with after installing my ssl on my hosting to my already populated site. YES, it was just what I needed and worked beautifully. It did take care of all the http to https of my site and I am very happy.
AMAZING, SO NICE YOU GUYS CARED TO MAKE THIS! ?

I dunno – installed and activated the pluggin and tested. The http version came up just fine: no complaints, no errors, and most importantly – no redirection. Ended up having to rewrite the .htaccess rules anyway, so I deactivated the pluggin and removed it. Sorry it didn’t work, and I confess I didn’t spend much time foolin’ around with it to see if I missed something.
