Unfortunately, not the first plugin by a WordPress lead developer to be abandoned. I guess Twitter is more important.

Sadly, with the new shortcode system it fails and it does not look like the plugin is developed any longer ??
If this is because of a lack of time or interest, I’m volunteering ??

Thanks Mark!
Such an awesome idea and still works brilliantly on WordPress 4.0.
Just in time aswell, I was looking into pulling the readme files in and formatting the markdown… So much quicker and easier using this plugin ??
Would be cool to add a few new shortcodes:
plugin icon
star ratings
reviews
Cheers!

This plugin did exactly what it was supposed to do in the perfect manner. What I needed was very specific… no need to complicate it. I Make Plugins hit the nail on the head. Setup was simple because it was already done on another platform. No double work. Genius.
