Hello,
I’ve recently installed your plugin on my site. I’ve tried adding the Auto Sign Up code from iContact in the widget box and I keep getting an error message once I save it.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong here. But I would appreciate some assistance.
Thanks in advance!
I’ve got the iContact widget on my website
It worked with a previous sign up form code
I changed to a new list with a new form now the it will NOT work
It still has the previous form visible – you can sign up and be put into the previous form
but it will not accept the new form – and yes, I’ve set it up as I always do
Any suggestions what the trouble might be?
Thanks
I installed an icontact widget so that I could embed a contact form in my website. After installing the widget the content on my webpages got pushed to the right. when I deleted the widget, my webpages went back to the original appearance, so I tried installing the widget again. It threw my pages off again, and this time after I deleted the widget, I could not restore the original layout of my webpages. Please help…this has wasted my entire day.
I followed all the steps and have my Automatic Sign-up Form code in HTML – I have copied and pasted this into the widget – but keeps saying: The code below didn’t work.
There was an error processing the form code you entered into the “Automatic Sign-up Form Code” field.
I have the latest version of wordpress and I am note sure why this is not working.
Even iContact is referring customers to this plugin, but if your running WP3.8 and paste the code into the widget, it fails.
ERROR MESSAGE SHOWING IN WIDGET
The code below didn’t work.
There was an error processing the form code you entered into the “Automatic Sign-up Form Code” field.
When will iContact widget be updated to work with WordPress 3.6?
HI,
When people go to enter their information into the fields, the text is showing up white, and they are unable to see what they are typing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Erica

Had I known this, I wouldn’t have spent my time trying to get the plugin to work for me. I need this text gone.

iContact’s script for its Automatic Sign-up forms returns a div with id of SignUp. However, this plugin replaces it with with a div with a class of SignUp. This, of course, leads to CSS rules not applying to proper elements.

I am trying to add the iContact form to a WooCommerce based site. The form adds in ok, but the sizing and other style attributes are being ignored or overridden.
I was able to add the form code to the header within a DIV tag, but the form itself is still wonky (added padding, etc)
When I add it in a page with the widget shortcode, it spreads out across the whole page:
(see https://bambooleaftea.net/about-bamboo-leaf-tea/ at the bottom of the page)
ANY help at all is appreciated!

I need to override one of the input fields to accommodate a larger custom text field.
When I change the html to <textarea cols=”50″ rows=”5″ ….> strange things happen when I save the widget. It seems the code after the <textarea…> tag gets cutoff from the mini-editor in the widget.
I briefly looked at your code and suspect that it’s something related to how you’re making string replacements. It doesn’t look like is something you’re expecting. I don’t feel competent enough to try to accommodate this by myself. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
BTW: I am using the shortcode version for this.

I have installed the iContact widget on my blog at https://www.tanktopsflipflops.com. The widget config. panel reads:
—————-
“The widget is active.
Everything has been configured properly. Good job!
You can embed the form in post or page content by using the following code: [icontact id=2].
If you make changes to your form, make sure to click Save!”

However, when I attempt to submit the required information, I am redirected to the iContact error page at https://www.icontact.com/icontact-error?Invalid+Sign-up+Form+Id.
I am using WordPress 3.3.1. I have a free iContact account.
