An automated email from Wordfence yesterday advised that the IgniteUp plugin has been removed from the WordPress plugin repository. I understand that the developer can do this voluntarily, but it can also be due to security issues with the plugin that the developer has been advised of and have not been fixed promptly.

I’d rather keep using the plugin if I can, but until I know more about why the plugin has been removed I intend to at least deactivate it on all the WordPress sites I look after.

If anyone has more info on this situation, please share… thanks!

Thank you for reading. I can’t export the subscribers to CSV or BCC. I can click the buttons but nothing happens. This is also on a clean WordPress installation (latest version).

On the live website I copy-pasted all addresses but could be nice if the buttons will work. Thanks!

Subscribe function only registers emails on the main site. Multisite (under a sub domain) not working. Users receive a confirmation notice but the email is not logged.

Clicking on ‘export csv’ or ‘export bcc’ doesn’t seem to do anything. Is there a default location the csv file is saved to? Or anything else that could be preventing it from working?

I installed and enabled IgniteUp on an ecommerce store while we work out a bug in the cart. But the maintenance page is only showing up for the home page. Users can still go directly to /shop from direct URL. I thought it would show that maintenance page for all pages on the site.

There doesn’t appear to be a setting in the Options to define the link color though.

I am using one of your theme and like to know if I could display the video as a background on mobile phones.

The Google Analytics code from Google’s official Site Kit plugin doesn’t load in your page. So I tried to ass the tracking code manually but all the <script> code is not showed in the page.
I tried to add it in the template php file too, but it is removed by some other code that might be in the plugin.
How to solve it?

Hi, I like this maintenance plugin – but when its active, i cannot access the backend to work on the pages using Elementor.

In order to work on the design, I have to deactivate the maintenance mode, which defies the whole purpose.

I cleaned the website and the browser cache, go in incognito mode: nothing.

Hi, i face some issue during disable maintenance mode & deleted the plugin. Home pages still direct to Igniteup maintenance mood. How to solved that?

I use the Glass theme.
The logo and the background image don’t work for one reason or another.
Sometimes they do but after a while they disappear again.

I’m not a developer or anything so I’m not very technical.

One question I haven’t been able to answer myself perusing this forum and your (sadly empty) FAQ at your own site:

Is there a shortcode I can use to selectively display stuff on pages when the screen is activated? You may not deem this necessary, but as there is an option in your plugin by which certain roles may bypass the front door block, I’d like to be able to display certain bits of content depending on the state of the mainentance page being activated or not. Something like

      <style>.healthbar {visibility: visible;}</style>
      Remember: you're browsing this site in closed testing mode. 
  [/igniteup] 

or

  [igniteup state="inactive"]

I would find this rather practical; perhaps others might, too.

I should add, I haven’t had any of these errors before the plugin was enabled (I tested!) and after has been fine too. I have re-enabled it since.

This site was deleted and we’re trying to restart it. We’ve upgraded to PHP7.3, have the latest WordPress, a theme installed (Consulting, if that’s important), and a maintenance mode plugin added.

I went to test the plugin, and it’s showing an index of/ error sometimes. There are no files listed alongside the error. Sometimes it shows the correct information/style etc. Sometimes it shows what’s behind the maintenance plugin.

It happens on different browsers, in private mode/incognito so it’s not a local cache.

I’ve only got one page which is designated the home page, which is static, but I’ve also tried just displaying the latest posts and its the same.

I’ve also tried to install an SSL today, could that be the issue?

It does seem to just affect the home page. If you try to go to https://grrowlinglypurrfect.co.uk/blue (not a page) it shows the maintenance mode plugin.

I’ve looked at the settings of the plugin (IgniteUp) and they’re the same as I’ve used on other sites, so don’t think there’s a problem there.

Google results seem to say there’s no index.php file, but surely if it works sometimes there must be?

I don’t want to build a site if there’s a fundamental issue somewhere that means I have to start again!

Have disabled the plugin and now all fine (if messy). If that only happens when the plugin is enabled am I alright to use it anyway? Maybe 7 times of 10 it works?

Its not a high traffic site, so I suppose it doesn’t really matter, but I like to keep things tidy!

I installed ignite up and I can’t log in because my theme uses a custom login page (different of /wp-login.php) so I tried to rename the plugin through FTP and now I had a css-less maintenance page.

I have been using the ignite up plugin for the past month and a half and it’s been great! However I had disabled it for a few moments just for testing purposes and now it won’t work ! I have de-activated and then activated it again but to no avail !

What is funny is that it is working on the /my-account page but it’s not working for the homepage or any other page.
