Sorry to say this but I see no effect when using this plugin. Pages with active checkbox are still present in the navigation with no difference. Or did I mistaken something? What do you mean exactly with “exclude the page from page listings”?

Very happy with this plugin (once I put the extra code in functions.php so it wouldn’t hide the pages from me when I was in the dashboard!) Thanks!

I needed a plug-in to exclude some pages from our nav bar. Found this, intalled and activated flawlessly. Super fast, super easy. From start to finish less than 60 seconds.

I was looking for a plugin for excluding public pages which are not meant to be discovered normally but instead should be displayed only in certain circumstances. An example is a newsletter subscription confirmation page.
I found only two good candidates: this plugin (IM8 Exclude Pages) and another plugin called “Simply Exclude”. I tried Simply Exclude but it turns out to be not as simple as the name suggests, so I went for this plugin.
In the beginning, this plugin lacks the functionality to exclude pages from search results. I posted a feature request for it and to my surprise the feature got implemented within only a few days!!!
I am happy enough to have found a good plugin, but even more so to know that the plugin is still actively supported from the developer.

At long last I managed to find a plugin which excludes the rather annoying habit of adding pages to your menu bar, when you don’t actually need it
