This plugin no longer works – it blanked out all content on my posts and pages with the latest WordPress upgrade. I was forced to turn off the plugin and now all the captions have been stripped from all my images.
Are there any plans to get the plugin updated to work again?
Does anyone know of any alternative plugins to generate a caption based on the title tag?
]]>Greetings.
First of all, I can definitely say that the plugin “image caption” works in WP 3.3.1.
However, there’s a (not so) slight inconvenience: the caption only appears under images in which height and width have been defined, as you can see here: https://www.llueveensevilla.indiopole.com/2012/03/02/miguel-angel-iglesias/
I’m using bash 1.0 theme, and in the css all the images are re-scaled to fit the entry width (max-width: 100%;) so basically I only have to copy and paste the picasa links.
Now, if I want this plugin to work, I have to write down the re-scaled height and width and include these parameters in the img src tag. A royal pain, if you ask me.
Is there any way to modify your image-caption.php to avoid this?
Thanks a lot in advance
]]>Nice plugin, works great and easy to modify! Thanks!
]]>Hi,
I modified the CSS (mostly the color from yellow to blue) and my changes don’t take. I emptied the cache and refreshed, but I cannot seem to see the changes.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Agi
in 3.1.3 don’t work – info from galery don’t show
]]>Image Caption installed fine in 3.0. I can’t figure out how to get the text to wrap around a photo. Where do I insert the photo? Does it matter if I’m in Visual or HTML mode? What about the image alignment, None, Left, Center or Right?
