Any fixes on excessive server runtime resources
thanks
]]>Any new feature requests please?
Hi, this looks great. How can I add it to the external images and the featured images, please.
1. Can it pick up any external image URLs or external image tags and add the image to the system? Either download the image to the server and generate the thumbnails or some other way.
2. can this be extended to the featured image system, both internal and external featured images
thanks

Hi,
we’ve come across this error.
There has been an error in ImagePro
Could not map the paths for saving the thumbs!
With this output:
wp-content/uploads/2015/04/_d_improd_ is not writable! Make sure it has write permissions (for example 777)
I’ve changed the write permissions for the uploads which has worked for now. Will this work for new image uploads and directories created by the plugin?
I would like to prevent this from happening again.
Kind regards,
Tommo23
Hello.
I am trying to include Google AdWords Conversion Tracking code to two webpages for a client that is using the ImagePro plugin on their site.
When I add the code the page displays with the error message below. I need to know how to work around this or I will have to find an alternative to ImagePro for the website. Tracking these conversions is very important to the client.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Sara

Hello dear, when I disabled the plugin the editor in WordPress for old images no works, thanks for support
]]>Hello dear
I am testing the plugin and I have some problems:
– when I put the title of the image, no saving!
– the translate for spanish for open image for full size is wrong, should be say same similar to: “abrir la imagen a tama?o completo” or “link a la imagen”
– the translate for spanish for “caption” should be “leyenda” (wordpress show “leyenda”)
]]>In Google Chrome when I put an image on page and try to adjust it on Selected Image meta-box when I am deciding if to set a Full size or Custom size the Cursor blinks/flashes a lot.
In other browsers, everything is OK.
]]>Hello,
is there a way to disable this great plugin on certain post types?
The reason of my question is that by accident this plugin got into conflict with others, namely Simple Staff List and Meteor Slider – When I try to add a new slide, a new staff member (custom post type) a blank error apears, and I discovered when I deactivate Image Pro the problem doesn’t occur. But I need all these plugins.
In general, it is unnecessary to load this plugin on all post types, where you don’t need images at all.
Thank you in advance for reply.
]]>I would like to theme the featured image of posts with a transparent gradient (i.e. turn a png into a png with the left side opacity faded out to zero, on each post displayed on the home) and I think this plugin has the code within to do it, but not sure how. PHPthumb can add masks. As an almost working example, this plugin get-post-image https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/get-post-image/ seems not up to date, but had a theme call that could add masks. Basically just looking for a way to theme in the same alpha mask onto featured images. Thank you!
]]>Hi, it is a excellent plug-in for
Wordpress users whom must deal with a log of images. I have face to a little bit trouble on resize some photos without aspect ratio for some purpose on post/page.
For example, a photo aspect ratio is 4:3, I want to resize it and make it to keeps almost to 16:9 ratio. I can use mouse to do it in the WP Editor easily, but the final result on page view is it still keeps aspect ratio.
Thank you,
Timmy
]]>Hello!
I really love your plugin!
One question. As we are using wordpress to prepare the content of our newsletters for an online newsletter provider and we are having difficulties with relative image URLs.
Is there a way to change the HTML output to absolute URLs?
Thank you and good bye
Philipp
]]>I tried this with the 2014 theme and I encountered some issue.
Perhaps your theme doesn’t recognize custom image directory because i upload it to img.website.com/123.jpg .. thus no thumb appears and it gives php error.
Secondly, there are glitches in the dropdown selection, it keep bouncing back and forth while trying to select. Tried it with 3.8.3 and also 3.9.1
]]>Is hard to describe this because never saw this error before.
I added an image to my post. I click on it and I can see the different available options on the side for this image. Then I click on the frames and once applied it starts automatically reducing the size of the image!
From what i see in the desc and screenshots, 3.9 can already do many things this plugin does. So what is the difference between the default 3.9 function and yours?
]]>I had the plugin version 0.21 and no problems.
Twoo month ago I try to update. butthe thumbs not show in my post image pro admin panel. So i down to the last version of the plugin.
Now I try again and is the same. The thumbs are not showing
in the post image pro thumb windows show a lot of code. For example…
is extrange this http:\/\/myweb.com\/wp-content\/
the \/\/ address bars
{“ok”:true,”data”:[{“id”:19382,”name”:”IMG_4998 (Copiar)”,”ext”:”jpg”,”thumb”:”http:\/\/myweb.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/image-pro-wordpress-image-media-management-and-resizing-done-right\/src\/thumb\/phpThumb.php?w=80&h=60&src=\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/IMG_4998-Copiar.jpg”},{“id”:8671,”name”:”incineradora la alcarria”,”ext”:”jpg”,”thumb”:”http:\/\/myweb.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/image-pro-wordpress-image-media-management-and-resizing-done-right\/src\/thumb\/phpThumb.php?w=80&h=60&src=

Hi,
Just installed Image Pro & certainly like the drag & drop capability. But, I’ve also installed NextGEN Gallery to manage images… is there a way that Image Pro can use these as the source for images as I don’t want to have to load them up twice.
Cheers
Colin
Hi Mihai
I also send this as an email in ur site.
I have a suggestion about ur image pro wordpress plugin. english isnt my first language so sry about that.
Have u ever worked with blogspot? the resizing technique in blogspot is superb. but why?
same as ur plugin we can choose for example large – medium – thumbnail ……
but :
the medium size in ur plugin 4 all images , is the same : 300 * 300
but the medium size in blogspot is different for each image.
for example :
for image X : the medium size is h=320 w=240
for image Y : the medium size is h=200 w=320
but y they r defferent?
consider the 100*100 image =====>i want the medium size of this image : so it is 50*50
consider 1000*1000 image ======>i want the medium size of this image : so it is 500*500
here is my question :
1- can u add this feature to ur plugin?
2- I want to add lightbox on images which resized with image pro (when click on them, light box open and show the picture in original size) . is this possible?
here is the sample blogspot images in different sizes
https://www.7zero-fa.blogspot.com/2013/10/blog-post.html
I hope u answer me, thanx 4 ur time and ur gr8 plugin ??
]]>Hi,
I’ve installed the plugin on my WordPress multisite, but it doesn’t seem to be active on my site.
The plugin installed correctly, but doesn’t show in the visual editor screen. Does this have something to do with the default wp path it expects the site to be ?
I would really love to try it out..
Best regards,
Good day
I’d like to use the plugin – I’ve tested it and works fine. I there a possibility to white label this plugin:
In the selected image dropdown there “WordPress default” is used, is there a way to change to “default”
Thank you
??
I can upload to the Media Gallery but the “Upload Files” in the Image Pro panel isn’t working. I’ve tried changing file permissions on the plugin folder but it didn’t work. Anything else I can try?
Thanks
Charles
Could not copy file. image-pro-wordpress-image-media-management-and-resizing-done-right/src/thumb/docs/phpthumb.changelog.txt
This is the second update that has given me problems.
Why is it this plugin has trouble with updates from WordPress Repository?
Cannot get response after file upload! – Keep getting this error when uploading images.
Have made sure all folders required are writable, but never seems to work uploading images. Plugin works with exisiting images though.

I was really excited seeing your video, just what I needed. Then I installed it and it broke my ability to post content.
Firstly, I installed the plugin and activated it. It had a permissions issue which I fixed
Then I went in to a post and noticed the ‘available images’ previews did not work and they just said ‘no GD’.
Then I got images into the post and tried to ‘update’ and it just went to a /wp-admin/post.php page that said “no GD”
]]>Hi there, I am testing your plugin which looks promising but its really not working as expected with the KnowHow theme.
If I upload an image by drag and drop I dont see the thumnnails but if I go to the WordPress gallery the image is shown.
I have GD PHP (tested it), and also checked the log for errors, no luck.
When I tried to click on the Debug link of your plugin the page just goes to the top but nothing happens.
It would be great if you can take a look at what might be going on, I can see your plugin as part of future versions of WordPress its very nice the idea. Thanks!
]]>Hello. Yesterday I installed two plugins on my site: Image Pro and Imsanity. Afterwards, I realized that an existing gallery featuring six photos no longer renders 4 of the 6 photos. I’m trying to find out whether it’s Imsanity or Image Pro or the combination of the two that caused the problem – and if I can continue to use both plugins.
Please see this support thread at Imsanity Support:

Any thoughts? Thank you!
