I had tried two other anti-hotlink plugins, and they were either ineffective, or didn’t do anything. The one that did “something” still displayed my image, but with an overlay… and it said to click to visit, but clicking did nothing. This setup meant that I was still having my bandwidth stolen… not cool!

Imaguard (ahmigawd!) stops the image from showing at all- all people see is a broken image icon. Right lick to open and it goes to your blog. Nice.

Very glad to find this plugin given the changes to google image search. Works well, although I had some problems with the text size – I had to make it smaller than I wanted because it didn’t resize properly for small images.

The author has done a fantastic job with this initial release. It works as described and from the options that are currently available, there are only bigger and better things to come as the plugin evolves. One thing that would be good is the option to redirect the image back to the actual post or page that it originates from. Other than that a solid plugin that provides a timely solution to the problem that is image “pseudo” hotlinking.

Simple plugin that gets the job done. Offers two ways of protecting images through redirects (either redirect to an image with text on top or to a post with the image inside). Only issue I had was with a WP cache plugin which had to be refresh for this plugin to work.
