Hi, I see that the at the moment the plugin doesn’t work with Orcid. I see that the problem is that it calls this link https://feed.labs.orcid-eu.org/ that currently is offline.
Are there new any updates for the plugin?
Thanks you .
]]>Just a note to everyone that apart for critical fixes, I am not doing maintainence on this project.
The endpoint I was using to import ORCID feeds is no longer active. Importing from PubMed still works as far as I know.
If anyone would like to take maintenance they are welcome to it: the code is under MIT license so forking is always possible, but I will also give you commit access to the GitHub repo and email WordPress about transferring ownership of the plugin.
]]>It would appear that there other are ways to import ORCID publication lists that can be found in GitHub – https://github.com/ORCID/orcid-js
(I was sorry to see that this plugin no longer works to do this.)
]]>Hi
In ip_import_engine.php url to retrieve data from orcid and impactstory are broken. They have changed. Can we hope an update of the plugin or may we fork it ??
thx
Thanks for this plugin. I’m using ImpactPubs plus another one “WP Pubmed RefList” for this page https://www.meaney.lab.mcgill.ca/publications/ and I use ImpactPubs for the sort by year option, and the other WP Pubmed for the default “list all” view.
Differences I noticed between the two ..
-WP Pubmed has a smaller, cleaner font by default whereas ImpactPubs is a larger one. That can be changed with CSS I imagine.
-WP pubmed is updating itself when new publications are posted on pubmed, but for ImpactPubs I must go to the settings and click “save” again to re-populate the list. Is there some way this can be done automated?
-Also, while ImpactPubs is sorting publications by year (I really like this) each year seems to be in a mixed order with pubs from the beginning of the year on top. When someone has 500+ publications per year, this can be a problem!
Are these things that can be easily adjusted?
Thanks!
]]>I’m trying to show my publications with ORCID, but the plugin displays this message:
Warning: There was a problem getting data from the source. The remote server may be down, or there might be an error somewhere. Please try again in a few minutes.
The ORCID is correct: 0000-0002-9455-4906
You know what can happen?
Thanks.
]]>Hi! Thank you for creating this plugin. I think it’s the only one that is able to import data from ORCID and ImpactStory (I don’t know about PubMed).
The plugin seems to work with various ORCIDs I’ve tried, except with mine!. It is really strange, because all my ORCID data is public.

Any idea about what might be causing this? I’d be grateful for any suggestions.
PD: ImpactStory recently remade its site from scratch, so importing from there doesn’t work for me either.
Thank you for your time.
]]>Hi I am using your plug in and it is great but for some reason it only shows me publications only from 2002 and on…..am i doing something wrong?

]]>Hi,
I have a lot of experience using pubmed and wordpress however i am not a coder and im experiencing some issues getting publications from wordpress onto my website using this plug in. Where is the “identifier” and how do i specifically add publications from pubmed. I have followed the instructions on the installation guide for pubmed but the publications are still not appearing. Thanks
Just installed ImpactPubs. I added my ORCID id and it seems to work perfect on the ImpactPubs Settings. I added the code on my page. However, instead of showing the publication list seen in the settings dialogue it shows “Publication information not available” (https://science-network.tv/about-this-site/). Any idea what might cause this problem?
