I have an installation for importing events from different organizers (BTW, please correct the errata I always read with “Oraganizer ID“). For few organizers works as indicated, but other does not. Is it a bug? Could you please let me know how can I fix it?
Team,
We’re currently facing a challenge with the Import Eventbrite Events plugin on our WordPress website. When attempting to temporarily remove it from our listings page, we encounter the following error: “Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”
Any guidance or support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
]]>Can you import any eventbrite events by any user or only events in your eventbrite account?
Is this compatible with mylisting theme?
]]>When I import a class from Eventbrite and choose a category, it does not update and retain the category. I have to go in and edit the Event after import and select the category. It’s an annoyance to have to do that. It worked fine in the beginning, but not worked for a while now.
]]>Hi team,
Since the latest 1.7.0 version of this plugin, the website for my client (which is also using the Pro version) is showing the following error in the JavaScript console, from line 159 of /wp-content/plugins/import-eventbrite-events/assets/js/import-eventbrite-events-admin.js
:
iee_gm_apikey_input is null
This error might be related to the newly added Google Maps API key feature.
Could this please be fixed?
Let me know if any additional information is needed for debugging. Please note that I cannot provide access to the website itself.
Thank you!
]]>Hi there,
I’ve managed to import this event, using the event number: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/citizen-science-forum-anna-seal-westcountry-rivers-trust-tickets-684963152227?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
But when I try any of our other events I get a 503 error. E.g. this event:
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/blue-recovery-rock-pool-families-beach-day-tickets-656188636877?utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-medium=discovery&utm-term=listing&utm-source=cp&aff=ebdsshwebdesktop
I’m getting errors on SEMrush about litespeed cache not minifying the import-eventrite-events CSS. I don’t have this issue with any other plugins. Is there a reason that this plugin needs it’s CSS to show up on every page/post despite the plugin only being loaded on one page on my site. If so, do you have any idea why it isn’t being minified with all of the other CSS? Thanks!
]]>Did you get my previous email regarding the times of each event to end before the day ends so it doesn’t bleed over into the next day?
That way when people search for a saturday it only shows saturday events and not fridays. Thanks
]]>I am helping a pro-bono client with their website. They have a problem with imported events not showing the Eventbrite ticketing option like it used to, it just shows script code at the top of the post. If I turn the “Display ticket option after event” option off the code goes away, but both the non-modal and pop-up options are showing the code.
I have disabled the option for now but I have a screenshot of the code
Any idea what I can do to make this work again? Thank you.
(I am also submitting this question to your website support but since I don’t hold the license I’m not sure they will answer.)
]]>When importing an event with multiple dates (recurring events) the import is seperating the shows into seperate events, instead of dispaying one event with multiple start times.
We have events with 4 shows, 2 on friday 8 & 10pm, and 2 on Saturday 8 & 10pm. When the import works properly, the import creates one event with 4 show times that can be selected. Now the import creates 4 seperate events, one for each show time.
Also when importing a multi-date event, the imported events are not diplaying the events ‘description.’
Can you take a look at this. We have seen this issue before. Eventbrite has been updating their API, and it looks like some updates are needed for Import Eventbrite Events.
Thank you for your work on this plugin. I have been a subscriber for years.
Best regards
]]>Getting this message – usually this happens when something on the API has changed.
Are you aware of any changes?
]]>There was a lot more to the error message but it was basically a bunch of PHP errors of calls missing.
When I updated the PHP.ini file it just gives the critical error message. But the previous messages were definitely part of plugin
I reloaded the plugin files.
I reloaded the WordPress files.
I did the usual things. The WordPress debugger didn’t show me anything useful.
Chrome console just shows it as a 500 error.
Ideas?
Hello,
Does this plugin support translations? I tried created my own .po and .mo file for a Dutch translation, but the changes are not coming through, it seems.
Thanks!

The eventbrite Events post type doesn’t get any permission to be edited and it gives wsod on edit for users that have multiple roles.
I have administrator + another member role and it doesn’t work.
Only administrator works.
I tried to send a support ticket as this is for PRO but your support form is broken.
]]>Hi!
I love the plugin and it works really fine. Great job!
One question: Is it possible to also show past events (perhapa by using another shortcode)?
Keep up the good work!
I’m helping my clients import events from Eventbrite to their website, and right now the only event they have in a monthly, recurring one that started months ago, and will continue for a few more months. But when I import it into the website, it shows up as one, with the date from when it started months ago. If you click through, you can see that there’s multiple dates to sign up. But if someone is just looking at the events overview and see that the event says July, they may not even be interested to click inside.
Is there a way to display the different dates separately when listing events? Even if it’s through a second plugin, I would appreciate the recommendations. Thank you!

]]>Hi there, we’re using this events calendar: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/modern-events-calendar-lite/
Is it possible to import events into this plugin? We enter all the events from Eventbrite manually right now, so would like to auto-import them. You don’t seem to currently support Modern Events Calendar integration, but I was wondering if it’s on your list to add OR if you have a workaround I could try.
Thank you for your help!

]]>When I import Eventbrite event with recurring dates, the import is broken out into all separate shows. For example, I have a recurring event with 4 different show times. When I import using recurring event’s ‘Event ID’ I get 4 different events, instead of one event with 4 show times. Before March 16, 2021, I was able to import an Event ID and have an Eventbrite recurring event page display like the one in the link below:
Now when I do imports on, or after, March 22 all recurring event imports get broken into separate shows/pages. The viewer can no longer see a single page with the all recurring show times available in the tickets selector.
Here is a link to a recurring event, imported on March 29,2021. This event was set up the same way as the above link (one event with 4 show times). This import was broken into 4 separate links/pages, instead of a single page with recurring show times listed:

Can you please take a look and see if you can resolve this issue. I believe we have run into this one before.
Thank you for your support, we have enjoyed using this plugin and have it the best available when working properly.
