Is it possible to use the WordPress visual editor instead of just HTML?

When adding just a link to YouTube video in snippet, it wont show video.
It works just fine in WordPress.
Any way around it in snippet?
We want to change to “Elementor” and when we put in the code-snippet into Elementor-modules like “Code” or “html” or “text” the snippet will not shown. In the link you see the SWF at the bottom of the site.

i got Version Insert html snippet 1.3.2 on my live page, where it works great. i did a local install on my machine and the snippet is not showing up there. When i deactivate the plugin, i see the code, but when i activate it, the picture does not show.
I see though in access_log of apache, that it is getting the picture.
I need to see the snippet to evaluate the updates i am doing locally so i don’t break the live page.
I cleared all caches after updates, deactivated all other plugins, etc…
i am running php5.6 (like on our live page, where it works), but also with php7.3 it does not work.
I just updated the local version on the current wordpress version, all plugins are up to date.
All that on a firefox 76.0, but also on chromium it does not work.

The issue is that the snippets are not being processed on the Search Results page, so you actually see the Snippet code within the search results like so:
[xyz-ihs snippet=”hrc2-details”]

Insert HTML Snippets: 1.3.1
PHP: 7.2.26
Until recently Insert HTML Snippets worked as expected to create responsive slab text. I used the code pasted at the bottom of this post.
Now HTML Snippets completely erases the text inside the shortcode. Chrome’s inspector won’t pick them up, though the shortcodes work as expected in other test areas of my site.
Please advise.

Snippet 1 below contains snippet 2

Snippet 2 contains a link to an external site.
Doing this doesn’t seem to work. It seems to not recognise the URL and prefixes any link with my domain name.
Is it possible to nest one snippet inside another – and have an external URL inside that second snippet?

]]>Snippets is no longer working on the latest version of WP 4.9.1. Not sure how long it’s been broken as there seems to be no development on it anymore.
Pages seem to be OK, but on posts having the plugin active prevents the page from loading properly and it just spins on mobile and never fully loads. Tried a page load test with Gmetrix and it fails on posts urls if the plugin is active. Same thing if all other plugins are off. As soon as snippets is disabled the problem disappears.
I guess it’s time to look for an alternative. This has been a useful plugin over the years. Thanks to the Dev for making it.

Do I need to setup this or is it not possible?

I am wondering if there is a way to use this for creating anchors easily while in the post editor, without needing to go into the text(html) view of the post and manually make anchor tags.
For example, can I create an HTML snippet for an anchor name, then enter a unique name for the anchor while in post view?
I hope I explained this correctly. Ideally it would work something like this:
[xyz-ihs snippet="anchor" value="example-anchor-1"]
And that would result in the html code:
<a name="example-anchor-1"></a>
Even though this is a very simple code, this would be helpful because switching back and forth in the visual and text version of the post, then trying to find the right spot in the HTML is time consuming. I’m trying to find a way to insert anchors while staying in the Visual post creation view
