As soon as we got the Instagram feed set up, the administrative interface bot the Social Feed stopped showing up. The feed’s still operating, the menu item and submenu items show up in the WordPress Admin interface, but selecting any of them results in a pane on the right that just has the top-level administrative messages, nothing specific to SFG, no matter which menu item is selected. Tried deactivating the plugin and reactivating, but no luck.
Anyone know of something that could cause a conflict?

I have several accounts for Instagram but no FB. In this specific case a Business account and I have never used FB to that corp account! But I need to login to FB to connect.
The plugin says: Once you click the button you’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook account and authorize the website to read your information. Once authorized you’ll be returned back to this page with both your Access Token and User ID.
I have looked into the Instgram profile/settings pages but I can’t find anything about Token or user ID
Is there a way to do this without FB?
After updating Social Feed Gallery to the latest version (4.5.8), it stopped working.

Thanks for you amazing plugin. We added our account previously and it worked well until the access token expired. We deleted to old one but now whatever manual or automatic we are trying to add the account, it gets an error saying “412: access token not set”. This happens for both way “Button not working” or “Add Business Account”.
Please let me know what are the ways to add the account. Thanks

the feed made problems so i tried to reconnect the Account (Personal Account).
When i log in and accept the connection it also shows up in Instagram itself but there is only a notification “An error occurred. Please try again later.”
When i try to add it manually via the https://socialfeed.quadlayers.com/ I can login, accept the connection and than there is only a white blank box

There is something unreliable with the date that is displayed for business connections. When you connect, it shows a date about 3 months in the future, but the account is going to expire much earlier.
I don’t get this. Upon connection, it shows an expy date 90 days out. Then 52 and 40 days before the registered expy date it sends an email that the token is about to expire. But it doesn’t send an email when the token has actually expired, and it doesn’t show that in the backend either. Why not?
]]>Since the latest WP update this was one of the plugins that was not working all too well. After this plugin was updated, thanks to the developer, the plugin is working again.
Problem is, during the time the plugin was not working, on one of the sites, we tried to re add a instagram account, and it never managed to load the account name / number, although has a access token.
Right now the problem is that the plugin wont let me delete the old account and re add a new one. Keeps throwing this error below.
404 cant delete account, account ID not found.
And obviously since I am on the free plan I cant even add another account. How do you delete the plugin with all database info and reinstall it? ( I tried to uninstall with the check box in the plugin to delete all info, but it did not help.

If I try a personal account it correctly chooses my instagrma account, if I make business (my case) it search to log-in to my fb account then nothing. In both case I have the same error.

]]>I’m using the plugin for a little while now and everything did go well. However suddenly I got a error regarding my instagram account. The feed wasn’t connected anymore so I tried reconnecting but when I create a new token and go back to WordPress I get a message that I don’t have the permission to view the page after connecting, but I’m the owner of the website?
So now I can reconnect my account, how can I solve this?
Is there a way to set Cache Expiration to less than one hour (e.g. 30 minutes)?

I visited the site and found following messages:
I think I need to delete and reconnect my facebook business account to the plugin, and go to the plugin setting page.
When I press the trashbox icon on “Accounts” tab, the alert “You are about to delete the account.” is shown.
I press “OK” on the alert window, but nothing happens.
Also, when pressing “OK” on the alert window, the following error is displayed in the browser console.

Next, I uninstall and reinstall the plugin, but the account is still registered and can’t be deleted.

Why did I receive the mail after more than a month of token expiration?
Isn’t the token updated automatically?
Why can’t I delete the account or save plugin settings?

Hello,
yesterday I’ve updated the Social Feed Gallery Plugin and now it’s not working and showing an error message instead of instagram posts.
I’ve tried to delete the account and to add it again but, during the connection, it shows a blank wordpress error page.
If I look into the instagram websites and app permissions, the plugin is properly connected.
I’ve also deleted and installed again the plugin and it’s still not working.
How to solve this issue? Thank you!
