Hello, I can’t get instagrab to create a new post with a hashtag. I keep getting error messages such as:
Using access token:
Warning: file_get_contents(https://api.instagram.com/v1/tags/love/media/recent?access_token=): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 400 BAD REQUEST in /home2/home/sjulabco/public_html/spring2014/wp-content/plugins/instagrab/instagrab.php on line 246
Unable to download any images from #love
How can I fix this problem? Thank you

It hasn’t been updated in a while but are there plans on updating?

Hi there,
I’ve installed the plug in with no issues, but it won’t work for me – and I only have one hashtag… I get the following error any time that I test it:
Warning: file_get_contents(https://api.instagram.com/v1/tags/ahcquilts/media/recent?access_token=) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 400 BAD REQUEST in /home/surlyviv/handmadebyalissa.com/wp-content/plugins/instagrab/instagrab.php on line 246
Unable to download any images from #ahcquilts
Any suggestions?
thank you!
Hi, first off, thank you for developing this fantastic app! I think it’s the only one of it’s kind that actually does what I’m looking for.
One question: at the moment, it creates the URL based on the post title, which is based on the title of the Instagram image and the hashtag.
Apart from that, there is nothing else in the post.
I was wondering if there was a way to pull in the information used in the Instagram Location Map (when you upload a photo, there is an option to add a location)?
Thank you for your help! JH
Hi, I am looking to use your plug-in in a slightly different way. I am hoping for some guidance.
I want to pull images with a specific hashtag, but all I need is the images themselves (as thumbnails) and have them link to their respective instagram url.
Thanks.
This is a new server on 3.5.1 and it might be permissions somewhere but I am not clear on what directories or anything it may need.
I get a 500 error when trying to show the test run page or force run
Is it possible to tweak the settings of Instagrab to have it create posts of a custom post type, instead of a generic Post? I’d like for it to not save all the pics as a standard post so that I can separate the pics from my posts.
Thanks,

Hi,
is there a way to change the structure of the posts made by instagrab?
Now it is like this:

**name**

** Caption of instagram image**

The caption (title) of the instagram picture is also the title of the post.
I can change the css for

, but how do I remove the profile picture for example?
Thanks.
Erik.
Hello, i love your plugin but i have question if i need to use for special page how to do?
Hello,

Is there any way to prevent my website from creating duplicate posts of the same Instagram photos?
We’ve had Instagrab running for a couple months now and it seems to post images multiple times.
Any ideas why it’s doing this?
I have installed the Instagrab plugin on my website but I cannot get it working.
In my settings I have entered the correct username / password and have set it up to look for 2 tags.
The only other plugin I am using is Jetpack, the theme I am using is Twenty Twelve.
I have previously used Instagrab on a different blog, using the same tags, and have never had any issues with the plugin. The website that used to use it has now been removed.
Can anyone help please?
I was getting the following OAuthException when the plugin tried to gett an access token from instagram: “XAuth rate limit exceeded” I played around with the request parameters a bit and determined it had something to do with your client “application”. After having gone over instagram’s API documentation I wondered if this plugin even needed to authenticate in this way. So, I tried changing the url parameters in the https://api.instagram.com/v1/tags/%5Bhashtag%5D/media/recent request from using the access_code (which was null in my case) to simply use “client_id” and your client id. It worked. I guess this is more of a heads-up for you. But, if anyone can tell me why I shouldn’t be doing it this way that would be great too,
First off, thank you for creating this amazing plugin. Super simple to use and modify with the limited php knowledge I have.
One “glitch” I’ve found is that it only seems to pull from the lowest hashtag on the list. I only have two hashtags but the top one isn’t being processed. Is this a known issue and if so, is there a way to fix it?
Hey, First off – Thanks. I will definitely donate a little bit if I can get this plugin working. ??
Problem is, I set it up and … nothing … no post yet (?). What is the automation process like. Are there any steps I need to take?
Thanks,
Jeff
