Could you please add a custom capability instead of manage_options
I can then use some other plugin to add custom capability to certain roles, here’s the code you need to change.
In my example I used manage_instapage
class InstapageCmsPluginWPConnector, L:401
/**
* Adds a link to WP admin sidebar.
*/
public function addInstapageMenu() {
$iconSvg = InstapageCmsPluginHelper::getMenuIcon();
add_menu_page(
__('Instapage: General settings'),
__('Instapage'),
'manage_instapage',
'instapage_manager',
array($this, 'loadPluginDashboard'),
$iconSvg,
30
);
}
class InstapageCmsPluginWPConnector, L:73
/**
* Checks if current user can manage the plugin's dashboard.
*
* @return bool Tru is current user has the permissions.
*/
public function currentUserCanManage() {
return current_user_can('manage_instapage');
}
Additionally you would also need to add manage_instapage
to Administrator
role maybe on plugin_activate/updated
hook
When I was deactivate this plugin for some debugging then I lost visitor for some pages Can you please help me to recover that
]]>Hello, i’ve downloaded the instapage plugin for wordpress correct and have also activated it on wordpress.
Then the guide says i need to log in, but i use the same login at wordpress (instapage plugin) as the official instapagewebsite. But it always says that the emailadress is invalid. I quadripple checked if i used the correct captions and username/password as the official instapage website.
What could be the issue here? Thanks

Please advise. Thanks!
]]>Hi,
We’re having a issue with InstaPage in combination with WPML.
Our homepage is set to a language page ” https://oururl.com/en ” and therefore all instapage pages start with the language url “/en”.
But since we have a multilang site we want to create landing pages in multiple languages so this url can’t have the language in it.
Could you guys please add a filter to “InstapageCmsPluginWPConnector::getHomeURL” ?
If i can simply alter the $url var there to use get_site_url(); function this would be fixed for us.
I know this will result in us no longer being able to alter the homepage with a InstaPage but we weren’t planning on doing this so this is no issue for us.
Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,

]]>Hi there,
I installed the plugin and followed the instructions. All good until I tried to publish a page then I got 2 “access denied” modals. I am logged in to Instapage in the settings section and the token is green underlined.
I tried deactivating cache plugins but still the same error. I checked with my hosting provider and CURL is on.
Please advise. I want to get a landing page up quickly but this part is time-consuming.
Thanks,
GWD

HI. No pages are loading and we are seeing this error on every instapage we have now:
{"status":"ERROR","message":"stream_socket_client(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:\nerror:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure\nstream_socket_client(): Failed to enable crypto\nstream_socket_client(): unable to connect to ssl:\/\/secure.pageserve.co:443 (Unknown error)"}
All other non-instapage pages/posts on the site work fine and *our* SSL is current/valid and has no issues.
Been looking for a previous version of the plugin to rollback to, but haven’t found that yet…

I think it’s similar to the problem reported by this other user: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-28-operation-timed-out-after-45001-milliseconds-2/

]]>Hi everyone!
I had got site made on WP (TBautoshipping.com). Then I made 2 pages (TBautoshipping.com/offer & TBautoshipping.com/thank_you) on Instapage. I linked this 2 pages to WP through Instapage plugin. And if users go to https://tbautoshipping.com/offer they see unsecure version of website. So I want my website to redirect users from https://tbautoshipping.com/offer (and https://tbautoshipping.com/thank_you) to https://tbautoshipping.com/offer (and https://tbautoshipping.com/thank_you). How can I get it?
Thank you for your response!

]]>Hello,
I recently set up Instapage for a client and found that I could not set user permissions to “Editor” – this is bad and opens up the site for bad things to happen. WHY do you have to be an Admin to use Instapage – editors are supposed to be able to add and publish pages. Please fix this.
]]>I’m running Instapage plugin 3.1.10 on a WP 4.4.11 and WPML 3.4.0 (WP and WPML are a little old, but we can’t update this website right now). The whole admin interface doesn’t work because of AJAX calls being blocked by a double querystring: for some reason, WPML adds a “lang=en” in front of every AJAX call by Instapage, so they becomes something like:
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?lang=en?action=instapage_ajax_call&1507282094346
I studied this problem, and it comes from: /wp-content/plugins/instapage/connectors/InstapageCmsPluginWPConnector.php where the AJAX address is calculated with:
admin_url('admin-ajax.php') . '?action=instapage_ajax_call';
(line 282)
For the moment, I forced the right address with a fixed string:
'/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=instapage_ajax_call';
But it’s a “blind patch”. I think that a official update should be done by the Instapage team.
]]>Hello.
I need to uninstall the Instapage plugin. I have created a new page and need to have Instapage disabled and uninstalled before I upload my new home page. I have tried the disable and uninstall from the WP dashboard before, but all it brings up is an Instapage 404 error.
None of the documentation or forum discussions I’ve seen talk about how to disable and uninstall this plugin.
Has anyone tried this and been successful? What steps did you take.
TIA
Hi,
I’m trying to execute some code whenever Instapage pages are displayed on my WordPress site. I’d like to do this with an action hook, which I suspect could be easily added to this plugin.
Here’s the change that I’m suggesting:
instapage/models/PageModel.php after line 372 add new line:
do_action(‘instapage_display’);
If you have a github repo, I’m happy to contribute via PR!
Thanks!

Hey guys,
When I implement a form to a wordpress page I don’t have a header or footer appearing when I visit the page. Only the IP page.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

After updating to the latest version we experienced a conflict with both the Yoast plugin as well as various editing functions not working in the backend including: screen options won’t display, edit permalink button not working.
Also, any chance you could put a few of the previous versions up on the dev page so that we can roll back?
