May occur after updating both WP core and the plugin, if you use Litespeed cache and your 3d flipbook fails to load on Chrome browsers specifically, you can correct the error, sometimes shown as a Bad end offset error, by pasting this code at the end of your .htaccess file:

When I tried to create a new book, I discovered that I cannot edit in the backend. There is only blank space under the “Details” where normally there would be fields to upload the PDF etc. I am using the AVADA theme, running everything up-to-date. I had thought it might be WP Rocket blocking the rendering of the backend editor, so I deactivated WP Rocket and still there was the blank space under the “Details” segment

I have been happily using this plugin for several websites I’ve developed. It has been working great except for a recent case. I created two new pages on a site that was developed about a year ago, I’ve been using this plugin no problem on the website from the beginning. The issue is that when I go back to the new page and enter the block editor it gives me the White Screen of Death as it’s called and I get a console with around 60 erros related to JS. I cannot see any content nor the editor just a full page white screen. This does not happen anywhere else except in the editor for new pages I created recently. I deleted the page and started from scratch and still get the issue. I was debugging the website because of this and discovered that when I deactivate the 3d-Flipbook lite plugin, the problem disappears and I can edit the page no problem. As soon as I activate the plugin again I get the same white screen. I tested this multiple times and consistently found that as soon as I activated the plugin I would encounter the white screen. As is now I have to deactivate the plugin anytime I want to to edit the page. Is this an udpate issue? Can it be addressed? Thanks!

i now trying to transform from a dear flip plugin to this cause it makes a text issue in my pdf

in that plugin i added some exclude js to run it correctly

does this plugin need to add js exclude fro js defer and delay and so on? Or it’s compatible and i don’t have to add any js exclude?

Thank you for developing such a straightforward and functional plugin. It works perfectly out of the box when implemented through the Gutenberg “Shortcode” block.

However, I’ve encountered an issue when trying to use the plugin in a custom template on the front page of my site. I’ve tried two methods: inserting the shortcode via do_shortcode() in the PHP template and using an ACF text field to output the shortcode. In both cases, the flipbook displays correctly, but the full-screen functionality behaves unexpectedly.

Here’s the problem:
When I press the full-screen icon, the mode activates (I see the dark background), but the flipbook (PDF) remains small, positioned in the bottom-left corner of the screen. It doesn’t scale up to fill the screen as expected. This behavior differs from the same shortcode used on another page via the Gutenberg “Shortcode” block, where everything works as it should.

• There are no errors in the browser console.
• The network tab shows that all assets seem to be loading as expected.

It seems like some part of the full-screen logic may not be fully triggered when the shortcode is inserted via do_shortcode() or ACF.

Is there a specific initialization function or script that I should manually trigger when using the shortcode in a custom template or ACF field? Or is there something else I might be missing?

Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, in the past we used shadows in PDFs, which of course looks nice. Unfortunately the PDF is now displayed very strangely with bars and no gradient. Please help me, as even changing the PDF standards doesn’t change anything.

I am experiencing an issue with the 3DFlip Book plugin. Specifically, Page 7 of the book appears darker than it does in the original PDF. This discrepancy affects the visual quality and readability of that page.

my latest plugin version 1.16.1. I download the latest version1.16.6 and install it couple times, but the plugin still showing 1.16.1 version and said update 1.16.6 is available.

My FlipBooks work fine – thanks. I want to replace some of the PDFs they are based on by new versions – with the same names. When I replace the PDF and click to Update, the resulting FlipBook seems to still use the old PDF. I can update the properties of the FlipBook, but it seems not regenerate the FlipBook itself. Is this the case? Is there any way to do the regeneration, or do I need to create a new FliupBook for each new version of a PDF?

When the PDF is not built with having a separate back cover page but the content pages have 2 sheets per page and so does the last page of the PDF have 2 sheets (the front cover page is 1 sheet only), that last 2-sheet-page is stretched / compressed to 1 back cover page.

I have a conflict with your plugin and the Salient theme.
I can’t scroll through the PDF pages.
But if I switch to a native WordPress theme like TwentyTwnetyFour for example, everything works normally.

I have multiple pdf flip-books embeded as lightbox on same page like this:

Everything is working fine until I open/close catalogs one by one and then start to open them again in reverse order, in this scenario fonts are broken. See image attached.

I am not sure if that is related to latest update. No errors in debug console either. Tested on Windows 11 (Chrome/Firefox) and Android, get the same behavior.

after updating to 1.16.1 from 1.15.6, some fonts are garbled. We have undone the plugin update, but here is a screenshot:

and can be seen on https://leonet.de/kommunen/ as the top PDF (the screenshot is from page 3). The bottom PDF also exhibited the garbled font when v.1.16.1 was in place.

I would like WordPress Search to find pages/posts with relevant FlipBooks. For example, this page on Trusteeship has FlipBooks with titles “CC3” and “Trustee Jigsaw”, but a search on either “CC3” and “Jigsaw” does not find them.

The only way I can see to make these FlipBooks findable is to replicate their titles in some text on the page. Is there any better way?

The font of the PDFs embedded with shortcode in Elementor changes, becoming unrecognizable.

Until a few days ago, everything was working fine.

Now I’ve noticed that a few seconds after loading, the fonts in the PDFs change, becoming unrecognizable.
