Hello,
I see that the plugin hasn’t been updated in a little while. We you be verifying WP 5.8.1 Compatibility any time soon?
Thank you.
]]>I’m trying to get both a US map and World map on the same page. I’ve got the US map on there but no matter what I try I can’t get the World map to come up. I’ve tried following this https://simplemaps.com/docs/multiple-maps, adding the scripts to the header as I saw in another post, and enqueueing the scripts in functions.php. But I’ve had no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.
]]>Hi,
I’m using this plugin on page https://www.carlverstraelen.com/world-map/ . Everything works fine, but the locations aren’t clickable on mobile devices. Any idea?
On pc, you can click on locations to go to concerning photo galleries.
Thanks in advance!

]]>Hi, I was wondering if there was something that could be done with the size on mobile? it’s too small, I’m showing region 1 and it’s way too tiny

]]>The map doesnt work at mobilephones at all.
the continents arent even clickable.
Is there a way to make the plugin responsive and clickable on mobile phones?
Otherwise I have to rate it with only 1 Star because it makes the plugin senseless.

Great plugin and documentation. Quick question. WP plugin looks to be free to use in production. Simplemaps.com states licensing is required for production.
Could you clear this up for me? Thanks!

]]>I am using .4 version of the plugin. When using the [simplemaps] shortcode, the map does indeed work, but is blocking sidebar and main menu items from loading. I remove the shortcode, and it renders fine. Any clue why this may be the case.
This is the page it is being used on.

Hello, as per the title, is it possible to combine North Asia, South Asia & Middle East into just ‘Asia’?
]]>hi.
i wanted to put some doted lines from a location point to others countries like a “fly route”.
is there a simple way to draw on the map?
or is it only possible to modify the svg including in the js?
if so, how can i do it?
i already get inkscape but i can’t find the continent map in svg. Also i don’t really know what do i have to modify in the js to update the svg.
Any help would be appreciate.
Thanks
Hello.
This plugin works perfectly.
The only thing i can’t figure it out is how to get rid of the blank space on top of the world map?
There is a blank space between the id=map_inner and the greenland of about 50px and it’s way to large!
If someone has the solution it will be very helpfull.
Thanks
Hello.. this is driving me crazy for almost 2 hours. I have added a custom image to the locations markers but no matter what I try it just shows broken images once live. The instructions on the plugin site says to upload the folder map_images, but doesn’t say where to upload to. I tried uploading it to ‘Uploads” no luck. I uploaded it into the plugin folder, then into the includes folder, but no luck there either. Of course once I upload it I change the path in the mapdata.js to reflect the location. I am pulling my hair here and feel that this should be an easy task, but it just not working. I also uploaded the image to my library and changed the path in the mapdata.js to go the the library image. no luck! Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated.

Is it possible to change the font of the pop ups in the WordPress plugin?
]]>Hi.
Thank you very much for this wonderful plugin! I would like to enhance it to my specific needs, however I can’t figure out.
The task is to show lines, joining a defined center point and more than 100 defined scattered points.
I would appreciate it very much if you could give me some help with the code.
Thanx!
]]>Hi,
Is it possible for the map to show only a choice of continents ?
I only need the map to be zoomed on Europe, Africa & the Middle East, I don’t want the rest of the continents to be shown.
Your support is a must.
Thank you,
A.
]]>Hi there,
Thanks for releasing this map plugin, it’s really easy to use, and the only map I could find for WordPress that doesn’t use the Google Maps look, which is perfect for a project I am working on.
My only question is, right now it seems that the width in the mapdata file has to be in pixels, and I tried to insert a percentage, but it doesn’t work. Since the site I am working in is a responsive design (for mobile), I would like to somehow set the width to 100%, rather than a set pixel width.
Is there a way to work around this? Or is there a way to fix this using css and media queries?
Thanks!

Is there a way just to show all the countries in Europe?
