Is there any way to enable jarvis in front end as well?
It would also be sufficient to launch Jarvis via “magnifying glass” icon from frontend.
]]>I really love this plugin, it saves a lot of time.
I have just found a problem that it searches also in attachments (pictures) and because I often name pictures the same as the post name. Therefore, when I am searching for the post name, it shows me only the attachments and not the post itself.
It would be great if there was a possibility to disable searching by certain types.
]]>Hey guys
I am a frequent user of jarvis
it makes everything so convenient!
Another suggstion: When launching jarvis, how about displaying the 5 most frequently accessed items within last 14 or 30 days. Or maybe the ability to pin certain items to be displayed right after jarvis is launched?
Or maybe combination of both..
Hey support, first of all. Great plugin, it has saved me countless hours since discovering it I have put it on all my websites and clients websites.
There is something strange though. Is Jarvis supposed to search post IDs, product pages, ect?
I have one website that I installed Jarvis about 4-5 months ago, Jarvis Version 1.0.6
It allows me to search/find all types of content, product pages, posts, pages, ect.
However, all the other installations I have for Jarvis don’t allow me to search product pages and posts. Only allows me to find back-end setting pages really. Which is still nice but I have very large websites with tens of thousands of pages and really need it to search pages.
Any chance you could provide some insight or is this an intentional change?
Thanks in advance!
]]>Awesome search plugin, thanks for the time and effort into this.
You know what would make this awesome and destroy all other options?
If it were able to search advanced custom fields!
Any plan to extend the functionality for that?
]]>Great plugin! Thanks for developing this, it will definately get me from a to b quicker ;).
On IOS Safari the magnifying glass shows. When I press it, the icon turns blue but no input field is being shown.
I actually searched for an plugin which works on IOS for quick access.
Would you please test?
]]>First of all, thank you for the plugin. A great time saver!
I have a few suggestions for your kind consideration.
1. Hit return to go to the very first result.
2. Add Ctrl/Cmd + numbers next to the search results and make it easy to navigate to them by pressing that key combo.
3. Being able to open the selected result in a new tab by holding down Alt.
4. Make the plugin work when on the front end (logged in) as well.

]]>Hi,
Is it possible to extend (or limit) WP users to the search ?
Is this plugin be continued…?
thanks
I think a nonce check could help tightening the security on this type of ajax search, unfortunately it’s missing.
]]>I’ve installed and activated Jarvis, but I can’t see the J button in the right upper corner of the dashboard toolbar as I expected.
