This theoretically helped Lighthouse score improve from sluggish loading however in practice it took a page 5 mins to load Gallery Carousel Without JetPack after installing so I deactivated it to speed up page loading again. It did not have Lazy Image Loading in free version.

It’s good, but I will boost the numbers and they stay that way for a while (an hour) and then go back to the way they were. It’s not consistent and I haven’t gotten anywhere near being out of a C rating. I’m not expecting miracles but I also don’t think it’s fulfilling it’s promise, whatever that is.
There is no “bang for the buck” as it were.

I had a green score of 85 on my site without any of the boost optimization suggestions to speed it up. I turned them all on expecting a faster score and it dropped in half to red. I deactivated and reactivated Boost the score increase to 66. After deleting and reinstalling the score went back up to 75 at least. It seems to be a recurring theme.
Given that Jetpack has over 4 million installs I think their rating is really bad. I’d like to see it in a graph over the last couple of years.
