I have checked the page source and it includes the correct image.
The image meets FB guidelines. The preview shows the image, but when posting the image is replaced with the site logo.
Hi there, we have Jetpack social installed and linked to our facebook account, but new worpdress posts are not actually posting to facebook. This used to work correctly, but stopped a few months back. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. We have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the facebook connection. Still nothing.
In the past, all of this has just worked… I do not see any settings that are off on our end
I would appreciate any help you can offer.
Hi – I’m trying to connect Jetpack Social to Threads and Bluesky but both give an error – which just flashes up in a black box, but the gist is ‘Could not update Jetpack Social connections’.
There are mentions of this online and I have tried incognito, deleting cookies and browsing history, disabling the plugin, and https://isthismusic.com/xmlrpc.php gives the “POST requests only” message that it’s supposed to. Facebook, Instagram and Mastodon are already connected ok, it’s just these new networks that are failing to connect. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks – Stuart
We have setup Jetpack Social to connect to all of our social profiles. The only one that isnt working is the connection to NextDoor. It shows connected and says it is “sharing posts” in both the wordpress jetpack social dashboard and in the jetpack website. Each time nothing gets published, but it does on all of the other platforms.
We have installed the plugins on three of our domains and we have the same problem on each domain.
Can anyone help or provide some advice on this?
Thanks
Hi team, recently I have experienced issue with jetpack-publicize. I have uninstalled both Jetpack & Jetpack Social plugins, then installed them again, but the issue persist.
on top of that, when I try to access Jetpack Social or Jetpack Settings tab in WP, it loads empty and remain empty.

I have tried quite a few times to connect this plug in to my socials, and it isn’t working. Worked just fine on my other blogs but not working for this one? Can you help?
Hi everyone,
One question for the developers:
The limit for social media message autoposting is 255 characters. I do understand according to this thread that that limit is there for platform limits compliance.
The 255-character limit is in place to ensure compatibility with the character restrictions of various social media platforms, aiming to streamline the sharing process across different networks. We understand that this limit might not suit all your needs.
Alin (a11n)?(@alinclamba)
For X (formerly Twitter), no problem, but for Instagram Business, where focus is on the picture, one might need a little bit more of text to give context to the post.
Is there a way around this, such as establish the limit on a platform per basis?
It is not a bug, or a problem with the plugin, I’m just asking if it is possible.
Best regards,
Luis
Hi! I was recently denied a non-commercial license for Jetpack, with the reason given as ‘Promotion of Service,’ which apparently disqualifies it from a non-commercial license. I don’t understand the basis for this decision. My website is a personal blog without ads, product sales, services, or any promotion of a business. I don’t solicit donations or sponsorships either. I do, however, integrate Instagram posts and have professional accounts on Instagram and Facebook, but only for performance stats. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any insights?
I want to connect my (new) Facebook account to Jetpack Social. The problem is that in the past, there was a connection to my former Facebook account, which is no longer available. If I try to connect to Facebook, it wants to connect to this old account. How can I connect to my new Facebook account?
Hi, everyone,
I keep getting this error when trying to add the accounts to Jetpack:
Could not update the Jetpack Social connections on the remote Jetpack site. No Jetpack Social connection created.
The xmlrpc file is accesible. Jetpack is connected, it is just that will not let me connect any social media account.
Edit: Before anyone asks, yes, I disconnected the plugin, I deactivated and reactivated the plugin, I unistalled the plugin, I tried forcing a sync. None of that helped.
Best regards,
Luis
Hey there!
I have the following use case – we are a TV channel and we have over 30 different pages that we share to.
When we upload a TV show episode we want to share the post to the corresponding channel. However, since we have 30 pages connected – we have to manually click 29 of them to turn them off.
Is it possible to set all the pages to OFF by default before publishing so that we can just pick the one that we need?
If thats possible, can we set them off for a specific WordPress user because in another team of ours we have news reporters that have just 2 pages connected to which they should post every time?
Thank you in advance!

I have been using the Email subscription service that comes with Jetpack for a few weeks and I like it a lot. Just wondering if there is a pop-up window feature included with Jetpack, or a plugin that could enable this?. Thanks.

Hello,
I am trying to connect my business instagram account to my blog via jetpack. When I click on the connect instagram option it allows me to sign in to Facebook but when it shows available instagram accounts it only shows one, my Facebook account however has multiple business accounts within it – I have checked everything I can imagine and all accounts seem to be setup the same, yet jetpack still only sources one account to connect to? It’s showing my main business instagram but not the one I wish to use which is managed under the same Facebook account.
Any ideas?
Is there a way to have the “Share when publishing” toggle off by default. I want to be able to share when publishing just not for every post. I only need to share about 5% of the posts when publishing so toggling it off every time is a pain point.

Wondering, I have pages of audio (media) I read “Jetpack share” supports media share?
Is it feasible to share audio for instance (placed in the page via the wordpress audio shortcode:
E.g. https://codauk.org/shared-with-thanks/
Not sure if Jetpack supports sharing individual media (audio) ?
Maybe I need to look for an audio player with share facilities integrated. Or use javascript method (outside of the “for wordpress” ecosystem).
Any experiences very much more than welcome.
I had a wordpress.com site which was successfully connected to a Facebook page. We recently moved the site to a self-hosted WordPress with the JetPack plugin. The JetPack plugin on the self-hosted site is registered to the same user on wordpress.com as the original site, and both sites show up in My Sites on wordpress.com.
I went to the connections tab on the wordpress.com site and disconnected from Facebook.
I then went to the Business Integrations page on Facebook and removed the JetPack app from that page.
The on the new self-hosted site, I went to the sharing settings in JetPack and tried to connect to Facebook.
I got a page from Facebook saying “you’ve previously connected with JetPack, do you want to continue?” I hit the Continue button.
I then get the message “The request couldn’t be completed, please close this window and try again.”
This happens even in a private browsing window so I don’t have stale cookies or anything.

But I had several hundred posts scheduled that were to be shared to two FB pages (created on prior version of WP) and it seems that they have all reverted back to “do not share”
How can we fix this?
Also, JEtPack social is simply NOT sharing to my two Facebook pages. THe connections are live.
And your bot sucks. Your support is NOT world class. And despite what yoru website and bot says, there is not a link to get emailed support.
Through jetpack social, whenever I try to create a connection to my facebook account, the following two things happen:
I have followed all the steps to debug this software.
The only help available leads to those two paths and their online help sucks sh*t. The happybot chat is useless. Their online troubleshooting is useless.
Is this software written by chimps?
A month ago, we set up a Mastodon page and connected Jetpack to test the auto publishing system through Jetpack. As this process was successful for over 60 posts, we wanted to add Facebook to the mix and auto-publish to Facebook as well.
I completed the connect to Facebook yesterday but no posts published. This morning I removed the connection and set it up again to refresh the connection. And still no posts were published to Facebook.
I have now checked on Mastodon and I can also confirm that sharing to that channel was also blocked as well. Adding Facebook to our page broke auto-publishing across both social channels.
I have removed the Facebook channel again and hoping we can restore the Facebook connection.
Reviewing our logs, the only record that includes Jetpack is linked to your protect plugin not social:

Hi,
We’ve been using Jetpack Social to share to Facebook for some time. Works great, and all Editors and Administrators in our WordPress installation can share to Facebook.
Yesterday, I added links to Instagram and Nextdoor. Now my Administrator login can share to all three (I see checkboxes for them on each post), but other users can still only share to Facebook. I even upgraded an Editor to an Administrator but she still can’t see Instagram or Nextdoor.
How do I make all sharing targets available to all users?
Thank for your help!
Greetings.
I’m finding that when using Jetpack with Chrome and doing either of the following I get the following errors:

Jetpack > Settings > Jetpack Social > Connect AccountInvalid/missing blog nonce. All core actions require a valid nonce.
This only happens when using Chrome 126.0.6478.127 (no AdBlock or Popup Blocker enabled) and works completely fine in Firefox / Firefox Developer Edition.
