Good morning,
For a few days now when we try to upload videos to VideoPress PRO we get an error and the videos don’t load
Hello,
VideoPress works fine when I add videos in the block editor by using the VideoPress block. But, I have a custom post type which is using ACF (now SCF) for a video upload. Is there a way to make this video VideoPress?
]]>Hi there,
we took over that page from another agency and connected the new account with jetpack.
https://prnt.sc/aBK6i8005XXq but we are not able to upload existing videos again to OUR jetpack account. in frontend also no jetpack-wp.com path is visible from CDN.
is there a possibility to reset jetpack videopress?
Thank you
All pointers on your support site lead to the forums, which is not helping me in the least. Your bot is also not helping. How can I speak to someone directly? If this is not possible, I’m going to request a refund.
]]>Trying to upload a video file of 19MB to my site that has an uppper limit of 512MB. The error messages are pasted here in a google doc https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1wnSRyVTiyobjlc74kY1P67H1GVRV56TSR0b5K3BpJkE/edit#slide=id.p
The site is a LIVE site, not staging or dev.
I’ve tried the silly disconnect-reconnect solution and it still doesn’t work.
Is there a knowledgebase article or log file that I can check? Is this a known issue with a known solution?
thanks
]]>At some point I uploaded a single video as a test as the one freebie and I am trying to figure out how to find it to remove it and replace it with a real one. I only need the one free video but it’s telling me I used my one free slot but I cannot see/find the test video anywhere. How can I replace it?
Gracias
]]>Hi,
As of Monday the Videopress hosted videos aren’t working in the plugin that categories the videos. I am getting this error code ‘The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported’. It was working and for some reason has stopped.
I really need help.
]]>Hi so I just purchased the videopress not from within my site but from outside where you download it as a zip and I followed the instructions to install plugin and it says file is too big.
I also think I may have used a diffrent email to purchase it than I use for my existing jetpack account. I need some help here or a refund and will purchase it again from inside my dashboard.

]]>Hi, I’ve just made the switch to VideoPress and now my thumbnail images are generated automatically. Videos are currently experiencing errors on mobile, but PC browsers are able to display them properly.
Some videos show but most don’t.
There has been an error on the thumbnail image displayed.
Using Elementor. Any ideas?
]]>Hi,
I uploaded the JetPack VideoPress plugin to my staging site to test it before buying it. I uploaded an mp4 video, but I got an error. It shows a yellow exclamation mark and says “Upload error”. Nothing more. None of the earlier uploaded videos on my wordpress site does not work either. It was also super slow to upload a file and I’m on a fast internet here. So what I am doing wrong? I don’t want to buy a product before testing it, so please don’t tell me that it works only if I buy a subscription.
Thank you.
/Lise
]]>Hello,
we were building a website on website staging , and purchased a licence to videopress,
when we migrated to the new domain and made the switch, the videos are not working anymore , it stays on loading.
Is there any way to have the video working again ?
thank you
]]>I’m having an issue of all VideoPress files displays as being private after migrating from a development to production server. The only way to get them to play while logged in is to use “self hosted” and reference the .mp4 link from the WP media library. Any attempts to view or embed using VideoPress display as being private, even if logged in.
What we have tried:
We have reconnected to our JetPack account repeatedly and disabled it on the development server.
Confirmed that site wide privacy features are not enabled under VideoPress settings.
Attempted to manually set video privacy settings to public.
Cleared browser and server caches.
Confirmed there are no plugin conflicts.
FYI – When I filter videos in VideoPress with the “Private” box clicked, it shows no results. All videos are returned if “Public” is selected.
I am a new VideoPress user and I have discovered that my HD videos are blurry UNLESS I manually change to 1080p. I don’t want website visitors to have to learn how to do this. I found one post that said to add hd=true to the shortcode and that will be come the default. How do you edit the shortcode to do this and will this solve the issue? If not, what do you suggest?
]]>I am trying to use Videopress for the first time, and my 1st upload is not completeing. It uploaded just fine with in seconds but now has been stuck on “Completeing Upload” for over an hour. The file size is 202mb
The website is https://www.digitaldesignconcepts.art/
]]>Hi,
I have a self-hosted wordpress site (https://foryoufashion.gr/) and I just purchased videopress for it. The payment went through, but then I got an error message that “there was a problem submitting your website address, please try again”.
Now when I go to my videopress settings page I see a banner saying:
“You have used your free video upload
Upgrade now to unlock unlimited videos, 1TB of storage, and more!”
and I cannot upload more than 1 video which confirms the fact that there’s something wrong.
Can you please have a look?
Thank you in advance for all the help with this,
Sakis
My videos on my website suddenly appear private, and I can no longer view them. I also can’t upload new videos or download the old one from my library. I have been using the free version of Jetpack and have never paid for or used any paid plan. Why is this happening?
My jetpack is connect and the VideoPress enable.
]]>Like a lot of y’all, I tried out VideoPress for a video that was previously in a cover page, but I didn’t get the expected result, so I removed the video and try putting it back into a cover page. However, I’m not able to put it back into either the standard video block or the cover page. I receive a message that reads, “I used up my one upload, so I should upgrade.”
I went to Jetpack/Settings/Performance. In the Media section, the VideoPress is green and enabled, and I can’t toggle to disable it. Underneath, the switch, it reads, “This feature has been enabled by a site administrator. Learn more.”
I went to the jetpack module page at the bottom and found VideoPress. When I click deactivate, no change occurs.
How do deactivate VideoPress, so I get my video and cover page back?

]]>I am using Divi and saw that you have created a Videopress module to implement a Videopress hosted video on a Divi site. I would like to use a cover image with that module. How can I do that?
]]>Hi there,
I’m using JetPack VideoPress in one of my clients website. In this page,
Link 01: https://deniweb.net/fam/ (affected video demo page to solve)
video is pausing after mouse click, internel JS is changing from active to inactive, vjs-pause. Also, the videos are not starting from the beginning if I pause and refresh the page; they start from where I paused.
I want without any pause and double click fullscreen video to run in a loop without any interruptions.
So I tried using Elementor self-hosted, but the loading time is too high for first time visitors.
Link 02: https://deniweb.net (This page is self-hosted, don’t have pausing issue but loading time is high.)
So I want videoPress to use but don’t want those pausing and refreshing issues. How can I edit internal Javascripts or which codes can be used to stop all these?
Please respond as soon as possible.
]]>Greetings, I’m trying wp video press and loading the only video that can be loaded, if I try to move the thumbnail frame then it never starts from the beginning of the video but from where the automatic frame was. My question is: how can I completely eliminate the thumbnail and view the videos as soon as they open with autoplay without thumbnail?
The video should start as in the Italian section where however it is self-hosted and therefore very slow to open.

Thank you.
]]>I don’t have a plan, but I’m using the free videopress spot and it’s stuck uploading at 0%. The video is 45 minutes long, and it did work once, but then it was stuck at processing. Now I’m having second thoughts paying for the premium version if I’m already having trouble with the free one…
]]>I don’t have a license yet, just sharing one video on a test page. But we will buy a license most likely. So assuming we get a license (if that makes a difference) – it seems the only video size options are (a) play it in the web page window, which is rather small, or (b) 0expand to full screen. But for users who do not have a 16:9 screen, the full screen cuts off some of our content.
Is there any way to give viewers an option to resize the video player, or anything like the “theater mode” on YouTube?
]]>I am looking for a video solution that can cope with large amounts of traffic.
What is videopress capacity on one video around 2 gb in size?
]]>We have a site that we have built using Avada theme. When we add the VideoPress videos, it creates the basic shortcode [videopress abcdefg] but I can’t figure out how to add the captions. We don’t have the blocks editor (worst thing to happen to wordpress since the Pharma hacks) so I don’t have the button for attaching the captions file. Is there any way to add the captions in the Media gallery or via the shortcode?
]]>Hello, I’m trying to test out videopress to see if it will fit in with a new project and I am trying to upload the “free” 1 video upload just to test it out. It never gets passed “Completing Upload” it seems to be forever stuck there.
]]>Hello,
Some of the videos I host via Jetpack Video press are only played in slow motion. The video is played in slow motion, the sound in normal speed, what is the problem?
Since the videos are only visible in a membership area, I can’t post a link here
Chris
]]>Hello, I contact you directly by mail, because this is my 4th post and no answer.
I have a problem with videopress, none of my videos can be played, why?
I have the following message:
This video is private
Make sure you are logged in and a member. Learn more.
No, my videos aren’t private, they worked fine 48 hours ago.

I already had this problem in February , this is the second time in 4 months …
Do the right thing, please.
Thanks
]]>Hi,
I’m considering moving my 90+ videos from Vimeo to VideoPress, is there an easy way to do this please, such as a bulk migration?
Also, is it easy to create closed captions?
Thank you for your help!
