Hello,

At the moment, when a user registers as a job poster in this plugin, it immediately thanks the user for registering without asking them to verify their email address. I don’t see an option to require email verification. Please assist.

I saw in your plugin information say that we can “add custom input fields under registration forms and validated data and save under user meta field.” However, I have not found how to do this in the plugin. Where can we edit the custom input fields for the registration form?

I just installed the plugin and when I go to Job Archive page, I get a blank list and errors in my server’s log. Same happens when I try to create a new page with the [job_bm_archive] shortcode as well (get shown on screen error “Update Failed” and the new page is not published at all, same when I try to edit the page generated by the plugin).

I use Paid Membership Pro plugin.

I have added an XML source as per the YouTube tutorial, but it doesn’t work. The fields are recognised, but as the data is wrapped in CDATA tags, the parser appears to ignore this data. E.g.

<jobname><![CDATA[Ranger]]></jobname>

Is there a way to get it to recognised the data inside CDATA tags?

Separately, my XML feed has an @attribute tag with the job ID nested in here. E.g.

How to I access that? Is this a valid method?:

Well, the website has been running for a while with no issues, then suddenly I had a few of the settings set wrong. (That could have been an update or client editing). I fixed those but I can’t remember where to set the page for the Application Method: By External Website and I can’t find it in your documentation now.

(We went with your job board manager plugin because it was the only one that would allow us to use our own custom forms–my client requires conditional statements to that the applicant can choose to add previous employer fields to the application form. This is why we needed our own and why “By External Website” is vital. I just point it at our forms.)

How can I create the search parameter as in your demo page??

I am working on a site running on XAMPP on my PC, if that makes any difference. I entered one job into Job Board Manager and saved, went to the job archive page, clicked on the job title, and got the 404 File Not Found. I read the instruction in the FAQ that said to resave the permalink settings to refresh, so I went to Settings>Permalink and resaved them. I am still getting the 404 File Not Found.

I included the link above in the case that there is a formatting issue (the post title is very long, so the permalink is long and I was wondering if that length may have something to do with it), but it’s not a live site so it won’t be clickable.

When someone submits a job, they are getting an error stating “ERROR: Total vacancies is empty.” I don’t see a field for vacancies on the form. Where can I remove that field or make sure it appears?

After testing the plugin, I saw that it indeed has the necessary features for a Job Board.

1.) The Dashboard is too basic. And it has been like that for years. It’s time to give the Dashboard a facelift.

Please make the dashboard a graphical Dashboard.

There’s almost no styling whatsoever, and there’s no beauty for which to desire the website on which this your plugin is used.

Who wants to desire something so plain, simple and ugly without any fancy and inspiring aesthetics?

This realization brought me to another conclusion– a request that you need to make a Theme for this Job plugin.

Even if the Theme will be simple with minimal styling, but at least, it will have some click effects, display effects, colour effects, text effects, image scaling effects, loading effects, and many fancy effects that would make it stand out at least.

1.) LOCATION ICONS
I think that the location icon is a smart idea, but it is still immature. I believe that the Location icon should have been drawn from
pre-packaged Font Awesome icons. This means that Pre-packaged Font Awesome icons should come with the plugin, and when
we get to the point of selecting icon, we select from the Pre-packaged Font Awesome icons.

CURRENCY SETTINGS
There should be currency settings. This means that we should be able to set a Global currency symbol that is automatically added
in the front end.

This currency setting should be the normal thing we all know–where it talks about the:
a.) Currency Symbol
b.) Thousand separator
c.) decimal Places
d.) if symbol should appear before or After value/amount.

The reason why this currency setting is important is because I don’t want to always keep typing currency manually in the currency field.
The currency field should show a dropdown of pre-entered currencies–where I just select my desired currency.

I decided to try your Job plugin. I won’t lie– it’s a well built and Advanced plugin.

Presently, I have seen two issues which I will want clarification on:
1.) For Location, we can create Location Title, and choose Country. But there is no option to Create Province.

My Country is one Country, but it has 36 States(or 36 sub government divisions).

Each State has it’s own major areas. For example, Lagos State has Ikeja, Agege, Lekki, Festac, Ajah, Badagry, Apapa, Surulere, Yaba, Ikosi and son on, as areas within Lagos State, which is only one of the 36 States.

So under the Location hierarchical structure which you have so well built, you’ve missed one step in the hierarchy– we have option for country and City, but there’s no option for Province.

FEATURE REQUEST
Please, provide us with option for Province. Let the Location hierarchy go like this–Country >>Province >>City

2.) Under Application Method, there’s option for None, By Email, and by External website.

Normally, application should happen by filling an Application Form. Why don’t we have such option among the Application Method options?

when i click the email to apply a job, then i fill up the info and click submit, it keep loading then timeout, then i check the application in the backend, it keep looping to create the record unitl 20-30k. WHY

We want the job to show as completed under the job dashboard and not disappear after expiry, or an option to mark as complete and show it under job dashboard of the user, any options to do that?

i have setup job category ..when I click on the single job don’t show single page but that just shows the homepage with all categories.
