]]>I have installed the free version of the Joebooking plugin. It is a great plugin and suits my requirements perfectly. I have one question: How is the cancellation email triggered? If someone cancels, the email is received ok on the admin email account. When I go to the appointment to cancel it, there are options to mark as Reject, Pending, No Show, Completed but nothing for ‘Cancel’. There is a cancellation email template, but no way to trigger it. – when a customer makes an appointment they are not taken to the confirmation page and do not get an email, the appointment does not show in Appointments, I get a New User email but not Appointment Request
– when I make an appointment for a customer it does not show in appointments and it takes the wrong time range

I purchased your plugin under the impression it could be used for photographers. It works beautiful for everything I need it for. I just have one thing I need to change. I have read where it can be customized specifically for photographers which I thought would include the technician as being a Photographer. I can’t seem to find anywhere how to change from Massage Therapist to photographer. I have dug around in several of the installed files your program uses but can’t seem to find it anywhere. Can you please let me know what file I am looking for to change out that title? I would really like to use the email notifications with the appoint all function but that emails my clients telling them their Massage Therapist is ” ” instead of Photographer.

When setting up my calendar, I am unable to set the availability. The tab is removed. I am able to see the availability tab in the admin area when selecting a drop down in the settings section. I currently am running a WordPress site with the SQLite Intergation plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/sqlite-integration/). It is using a SQLite database in place of MySQL. Now I have downloaded your JoeBooking plugin but it fails when trying to activate it. The message is: Cannot login to the MySQL database with the specified login information. The following error occurs:
2002: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.
Would it be possible to update this plugin to work with SQLite?

I just bought the Salon Pro version and I’m having a lot of issues.
First of all, the file joebooking-salon-pro/core6/panels/system/invoice/index.php is cut before the end, so obviously it is impossible to book an appointment.
I have been able to fix it with an oldest version of Salon Pro ( 5.29, the only one I could find ) but now I have another issue as my customers are forced to log into the website to be able to see the calendar, else they have the message “Not available”. I don’t want my customer to have to register to my website, they should be able to see the calendar even if they aren’t logged into the website.
I tried to put the same parameters on your demo version, and it is working fine on the demo version but not on my website, I don’t understand why. I tried with the free plugin and it is working as well, but if I bought the Salon Pro plan it was because I needed this one.
Could you please help as soon as possible ?

I have had him check his email thoroughly, look in his spam/junk folder, etc. and he has not received the email that he was supposed to get to download the plugin.
We have contacted avangate to see if we can get a download link, but they say you the merchant are responsible for delivery. I have sent an email twice through your website, and have not heard back. I’m writing here now with the hopes you will see this and help me.
We would like the plugin we paid for. Please help. We need this to finish the site and launch it. It is time sensitive.

This is the page where my scheduling is set up for my clients. My issue is that I cannot seem to add more than one entry to the availability options. Currently my availability is set to M-F 8am-8pm for 60 min each however Sunday and Saturday are also showing on the system for a short number of weeks and then disappear.
I cannot seem to get it to add my availability properly. I need it to display the following:
Sunday – Closed (No Availability)
M thru F – 8am – 8pm (60 min each)
Sat – Noon – 8pm (60 min each)
I have even tried to do this directly into the database but cannot seem to locate the table for modification. Can someone help me here?

Attempting to apply the same INSERT in the Navicat for MySQL tool also errored out but with an additional message:
[Err] 1366 – Incorrect integer value: ” for column ‘lead_in’ at row 1
It appears that the ‘lead_in’ column in the database is of type INT but an empty string is used in the INSERT statement. Updates to existing entries works fine.
Note, I am not using the premium version of the plugin. Any help on this would be appreciated.

However when a new client book a new appointment I don’t receive any notification in my email address, so I can only be aware of new appointments only if I check the appointment tab in the plugin.
What am I missing? Is there a way to configure this feature?

I have just tried the demo on your website and I want to check if it is always in Spanish (I think!) or if it is in English as I found it very difficult to se how to do things in the demo as it is.
Can you also confirm that I could use this plugin to book group sessions as well as individual appointments (to use your hair salon example, if I wanted to run a class on braiding hair, could I allow 10 different people to book)?

Hi,
I just upgraded from the free version to the Pro version.
Now, when I visit the online booking page it says “Not Available” where the schedule should be if I’m not logged in.
However, if I visit the same page while logged in, I can see the schedule!
I don’t understand why this is happening because it worked perfectly on the free version.
Also, a note to those considering getting the Pro version: make sure you do a backup before installing the upgrade and do not uninstall the free version of the plugin, just leave it deactivated, otherwise you will loose EVERYTHING (I learned the hard way).

So allow the person booking to click on the link in the email to go back to the website to see the appointment status (pending, approved or rejected).
I am quite savvy with the code, but just need to be directed to the correct file.

I tried joebooking in an other site and it worked very well, in my new website, I cant’t configure it, can you help me ?
In setting, email, SMTP Settings, I configure my host : mail.gandi.net, my Username and of course my password.
When a tryed to book an appointment, it worked well but no one recevied an email.
When I try to cancelled an appointment, joebooking told me : “SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.”

Love the plugin so far! (I’ve been using it for a whole 2 hours!)
My only question so far is about the form anchor. I have instructions on my appointment page that are very important for the client to read before booking their appointment, but when I go to the page it auto-scrolls down to the form and bypasses the instructions on top.
Is there a way to prevent this?

On the fronted form, is there a way to turn off the default CSS or provide your own custom css? I would like your plugin to automatically pick up my default theme styling if possible.
Also, labels like New Appointment and “Time” – can these be made customizable?
Appointment is used all over the notifications… would be cool if you could customize this and then have all the default notifications automatically use that label instead of “Appointment” everywhere.
I would rather the shortcode not add an h2 for “New Appointment” – I can add that to the page myself.
And then I think “Time” should be customized to “Choose a Date / Time”
Also, all the boxes on the form look the same, the buttons that the user needs to press should look more like buttons instead of just rectangles.
I would also like the Service Description to show by default on the page rather than only showing when the user clicks on the service – especially since there is not a real reason or cue to tell them they can do this.
