Will the plugin still exist in the future? Is it no longer available at the moment! Or will there be no more updates and should I switch to another plugin? If so, is there one where you can import the settings?
]]>Hi,
I would like to suggest improvement about HTML mark-up output. The plugin has option to choose titles’ tag such as H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6. However the subtitles for “Pros” and “Cons” are automatically coming with H4 tag, no matter what tag selected for main title.
That would be great if the plugin had a logic, which is taking into account the main tag, and then automatically determines an appropriate tag for subtitles.
Such as:
Main title – H1 : Subtitles – H2
Main title – H2 : Subtitles – H3
Main title – H3 : Subtitles – H4
…
This would make a better HTML structuring, which is important for SEO ranging factors.
Apart from that it would be great to make a manual selection of a tag for subtitles, such as wrapping it into a DIV tag. The reason – when writing a well-optimized blog, it is highly popular to insert automatically generated Table-Of-Contents, which analyzes all Heading-tags structure and creates a post-navigation. In my case, the Table-Of-Content plugin, takes subtitle H4 tags, and putting 2 links: “Props” [H4], and “Cons” [H4] under “Props and Cons” [H2] title, without having an [H3] tag in between, which makes quite a bad visual appearance.
Another simple way to solve all issues (without putting much effort in it), would be to replace H4 tag of the subtitles with a DIV tag.
I hope you will consider these suggestions to implement in a next versions of your plugin. Thank you.
]]>Google changed the structured data for product reviews, There is now a new Pros and Cons structured data that makes sites eligible for an enhancement in search.
Will this plugin be update to suport that?
]]>These Icons (????) in the pros & cons section are shown as images without alt text according to some SEO tools. I asked on Twitter to Google’s john muller and he said, “For what it’s worth, you can do something without it being a ranking factor.”
Is there a way to remove the icons and just retain the text?
]]>I have a suggestion that might make this plugin very popular. Have an option for admin to enable front-end submissions from either registered users or guests. A simple interface where user can add either pros or cons to the existing lists. Also, an option for users to vote-up or like existing pros or cons. When user submits a new pro or con, there is a duplicate content check that will show users existing pros or cons that match the words they are typing and will not let them submit duplicate suggestions. Admin can set matching word threshold to X so for example if at least 3 words they are typing match an existing answer it will not let them post the pro or con suggestion.
Just an idea. What do you think?
]]>I asked the question even though I already know the answer :)… I did tests and at the moment unfortunately it’s not possible, at least that’s what I believe.
It would be wonderful if you can add this feature. It would be very nice to add any HTML code, starting with images.
Anyway congratulations for the fantastic plugin, I believe it is the best in this category.
]]>Hello,
is it possible to change the colour of both boxes the pro box and the contra box?
Furthermore, I would like to have the boxes smaller and used the following code but obviously it does not work any more:
.wp-pros-cons .wppc-box-symbol {
width: 63px;
height: 63px;
I am using view1 and view2 and I would like to have both smaller.
Best regards,
Niclas
]]>I feel like the solution to this is just something dumb I’m overlooking, but can anyone let me know how to add the table to my post?
I activated the plugin, and I can see “WP Pros & Cons” in my dashboard’s sidebar. When I edit a post, I have looked through all the block options, and I don’t see anything new there. I was reading the forums and I found that I need to add a shortcode for my pros and cons table, but where do I get that shortcode from? I haven’t been able to find anything.
Any help getting this plugin setup is greatly appreciated!
]]>I have updated this plugin and got the style error. Can you please check the code once again and comes up with a great update?
]]>Hi,
Is there a way to find out on which post the plugin was used? I have a website got more than 300+ post and I want to know if there is quick way to find out so I can check all of them if they look okay or not.
Thanks
]]>Hello Akash,
I have two questions:
The button is not shown in my blog only the link. Is that theme dependent?
And what about future proofing? I am now using the Classic plugin for the classic editor. When I would move on to Gutenberg, I can use your Mighty plugin. But can I still use all the made pro/contra lists I made up to that point?
Thanks a lot
Stephan
Hi,
I installed the plugin and I inserted the shortcode into a post and the table shows up – looking great by the way!
I just don’t get how to put the pro and contra content in. Could you give me an example for stupid people? ??
Much appreciated!
]]>Hey,
can I put content in the form of text between the main title and the pro/cons -titles? I would like to have a description between.
Many thanks ind advance!

]]>I have changed the symbol size:
.wp-pros-cons .wppc-box-symbol {
width: 75px;
height: 75px;
Is it possible to do that on the settings page, in a next release?
Great plugin!!
]]>This plugin is great but making it so other FA icons arent displaying on specific pages made or generated by Minerva KB.
]]>Hi there, any plans to make it compatible with AMP for WP? Now the pros and cons list is rather bland and without any styling for the button.
Would appreciate if this could be implemented.
Other “must have” settings are font sizes and spacings between list, as now table is rather large. Would appreciate a much more compact view.
]]>Thanks a lot for this great plugin.
I have been facing a problem during the last four to five weeks. Even after changing the settings, the box border/button colors and box border style keep changing back and forth (to the default and back to the settings that I had selected). I understand some persons like to have a BLACK call-to-action button, but it is not working for my website.
I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin, but I’m still facing the issue. I have also switched templates (currently at the fourth template, which is AzonBooster by BoosterWP).
Has anyone faced a similar problem? If yes, how did you fix it?
Thank you in advance
]]>Hi thanks for this simple and great plugin, i’ve a question how i can remove the Pro’s and cons from Table of contents table it’s showing automatically on them. i don’t want them to show there but should show in post. is there any way ?
