Desativating the plugin does empty the table…
A pity when debugging ??

I had to desactivate / reactivate the plugin in the moiidst od some site and DB transfer, and the content has been lost.
I have backups of database but dont know in which table was it stored?

I am using wp 3.3.1 and jquery featured content gallery 1.2 When I upload an image that matches the size of the defined area in the gallery the image displays outside that area. And when the link is clicked the image is also on the link page even though it does not display there if I simply navigate to that page.

A few suggestions:
– you could use other methgods for calling CSS, that would enabled us to either integrate styles in the normal css and de-enqueue this CSS from the header, orr defgine a custom CSS

– Would be best if the path to the images was not written in full in the DB, but related to blogurl or media uploads URL s defined in WP options. That would make it much easier to move online/local / different url

I’ve been using your great plugin for a while now and love it. Have tried all the others and only this one does the job. Thanks so much for making it available to us. However over the past few months I’ve been having some trouble with photos.

I can add a photo but cannot change the position of it with any precision. When I click the up or down arrows the photo sometimes stays in the same position, sometimes moves, but never as intended. It jumps all over the place. I’m using your plugin in my header for rotating images and always want any new photo I add to be the first to display, but more often than not the new image is added to the bottom of the list and I can’t get it to move to the top no matter what I do. I am using a caching plugin (W3 Total Cache) and am emptying the cache every time I try to move the photos but this does not help.

I wondered if there is a limit to the number of photos that the plugin can handle. Maybe I am trying to show too many?

It would also be lovely to have the option to turn images on and off with the click of a button (in other words leave them on the server but select which ones are in the current rotation by making them active).

I realize you are busy and must prioritize the work that pays but will sincerely appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you may have about the problem with ordering the images.

This is the error that I get when trying to activate the plugin:

Actually using v3.0.3

It inserts the gallery ok, however all the images are shown and there is no rotation. The class “active” is showing for the first image.

Is there a way to set the jQuery Featured Content Gallery to play only once upon loading the page?

Bonus round: How about a way to have more than one gallery?

I’m trying this plugin on a website and I noticed that if I had a caption with ” or ‘, it added \ in the database. So I edited the file jfc-gallery.php and added a stripslashes(); for the caption and the name. It solved the problem.

First of all, I want to thank you for this plugin as it is the answer to all my fruitless searches until now. All I wanted was an image slider with options to link anywhere – Not to individual posts, but to my category pages which work as galleries for me. So this is JUST the thing. I have 2 questions:
1. I am able to add images, no problem. But there is nowhere to delete an image (sometimes I change my mind, yknow?) and the only way to do so is to deactivate then reactivate the plugin. Is there a simpler way?
2. The CSS extents the #jfcg wrapper 150px to the left of the image and the #jfcg div (I think that’s the correct selector – I’m not at home with my local dev right now) 150 pixels to the right. Are these necessary built in buffer zones? I’ll leave them if they’re needed for scroll allowance. Just wanted to check with the builder first. Thanks again.
