I would like to know if this plugin is still supported as no updates have been available for two years.

Would this be possible?

Yesterday I installed it on my live website, as soon as I activated it website starts throwing Critical error message, in hurry and fear I deleted it directly from Plugins folder from FTP, after then website started giving 500 Erorr, I increased the memory limit to 4000MB, since then it is consuming a very high usage of CPU and RAM, I have dedicated server of 8cpu and 25gb ram, but then also website broke after every hour, all this happened after installing this plugin and directly removing it without deactivating it. Please help.

Thank you for using jQuery Manager ?? This plugin is brand new, it could use some attention. Please leave a review ??
Useful plugin, but the admin notice is VERY irritating. I literally have to get rid of it with CSS because various “hide notification” plugins don’t work.
I don’t want to have to do this for every site/install. Please add a button so I can permanently dismiss the notice, or at least only show it to Administrators??
]]>Hello!
Thank you for this plugin, that as I read does what it should in almost any case. In my case, I installed it, activated it and cleared my caches, but still the old version of jQuery is loaded. Could you please give me an advice, how to fix this?
]]>Please consider adding an option to load different versions for guests (not logged in) and one for wp-admin (logged in)
This would solve many issues with page builders which is not built nor have support for non native wp versions. They normally break (functions and their UI) when using later versions of jQuery as they also use jQuery UI.
Would be great if we could add another toggle and for users who want to load different versions to prevent issues and break things which isn’t supported this would be amazing.
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-jquery-update-test/ from WP core as they plan to update jquery in the future. Maybe an option to update jQuery UI would be useful?
Thanks in advance @remzicavdar
]]>Hi,
Is there a function that would allow me to async or defer/jquery-3.5.1.min.js?
Can it be done with the aid of a plugin like WP-Rocket?
]]>Hi,
This plugin seems to be using an older version of jQuery that has 2 vulnerabilities.
Is it possible to get an update of the plugin asap?
Best,

Hi Developer,
When the following L10N project is done, the system will automatically generate and push the PO and MO file to the WordPress sites which installed this plugin.
Your plugin L10N project URL: https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/jquery-manager/
The PO and MO file’s naming convention is the following:
approved-plugin-slug_LocaleID.extesion
So, your plugin’s PO and MO file should be jquery-manager_LocaleID.po and jquery-manager_LocaleID.mo.
But current text-domain in source code is wp-jquery-manager
, this incorrect text-domain made jquery-manager_LocaleID.mo from system generated not work well.
Please correct text-domain from wp-jquery-manager
to jquery-manager
, then the MO file from system generated works well.
File: jquery-manager.php
Line 20
Current: * Text Domain: wp-jquery-manager
Correction: * Text Domain: jquery-manager
Line 37
Current: define( 'WP_JQUERY_MANAGER_PLUGIN_TEXT_DOMAIN', 'wp-jquery-manager' );
Correction: define( 'WP_JQUERY_MANAGER_PLUGIN_TEXT_DOMAIN', 'jquery-manager' );
Regards,
Alex
I saw another topic with this same error. I’m using PHP 7.4.

]]>Hi Remzi,
I installed your plugin and it resolved 2 jQuery update issues
but 1 issue left, similar like topic “jQuery 1.11.4 not updating?”
from berkmh (@berkmh) 6 months, 3 weeks ago.
In your reply you noted “This plugin doesn’t support jQuery UI”
but since then do you have new solution.
I installed your plugin on my test website (url added) and tested by
https://gf.dev/website-audit
Best Practices Audits /

Your plugin resolved 2 [email protected].4 issues just 1 jQuery [email protected].4 remained
marked as High Severity.
If you have a solution for this last issue please advise.
Thank you!

]]>Need to revert to the original WordPress jQuery version on specific page/s? Then this is for you!
Hi Remzi
A small follow-up story about my experience with your plugin.
It solved a lot of problems for me, YAY. But it also affected an important page in a negative way. On my website I implemented a booking system (Bookly) with several addons. I have a sub-page where customers can login to their accounts to cancel or reschedule appointments, change their personal data, get a new password etc. And this critical part of that page didn’t work, when jQuery Manager for WordPress was activated. Not so YAY. On a sidenote: I believe the problem arises from Bookly’s use of a Bootstrap version, that doesn’t allow jQuery versions higher than 3.0
Anyway, I found a solution in a small plugin, that allows me to turn jQuery Manager for WordPress on/off for specific page/s. It’s this little baby:
Plugin Load Filter
by enomoto@celtislab
LINK
I would highly recommend this combo (jQuery Manager + Plugin Load Filter) in case jQuery Manager breakes functionality on specific page/s. It’s simply brilliant! And this combo doesn’t seem to affect my Google PSI score beyond normal fluctuations. Actually it has the potential to lower your page load time, especially when using many plugins! YAY!
Thanks again for all your efforts and work! I hope this will be of help to the community ??
Kind regards
Peter
Hi Remzi
Really appreciate your efforts to solve the ‘jQuery issue’ in WordPress. Very nice work!
When using your plugin, my Google score in the Best Practice audit (Chrome DevTools) immediately goes from 93 to 100.
And everything on my site seems to work nicely, except for one single thing. When I press any menu item in the header, all the text in the header jumps sideways/horizontally one time in a small flash (approx. 50 px back and forth). It only affects the text contents, not the rest of the header. Visually it’s really a no-go. When I de-activate your plugin, the sideways jumping disappear, and all is back to normal.
My site is build with Elementor Pro (pagebuilder, updated to newest version). WP is newest version too.
Does this give you any clues as where to look for a solution to the header-text-jumps? What would you suggest?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Peter
What about the integration of jQuery UI?
]]>Do you get “Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined”?
This generally happens when you use a WordPress caching plugin. If you use a caching plugin you will need to exclude this plugins jQuery version.
Your hosting directory -> wp-content/plugins/jquery-manager/assets/js <- here are all the .js files stored. To exclude jQuery add the version you use to the exclusions, for example: wp-content/plugins/jquery-manager/assets/js/jquery-3.4.1.min.js
This path depends on which jQuery version you activated.
See our wiki for more information: https://github.com/Remzi1993/jquery-manager/wiki
]]>Hi there
I can’t figure out why, but for some reason, I can’t force WordPress to use another version of jQuery. I turned to your plugin as a last resort, normally I do this by myself, quite similar to how the plugin does it.
The debug information tells me this:
Debug information
Plugin directory: /customers/8/e/6/hedensted-valgmenighed.dk/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/jquery-manager/
Plugin URL: https://hedensted-valgmenighed.dk/wp-content/plugins/jquery-manager/
Plugin admin URL: https://hedensted-valgmenighed.dk/wp-admin/tools.php?page=wp-jquery-manager-plugin-settings
Domain name: hedensted-valgmenighed.dk
URL: https://hedensted-valgmenighed.dk
jQuery: jquery-3.4.1.min.js
jQuery Migrate: jquery-migrate-3.1.0.min.js
]]>
After install this plugin I test my website with the Google Lighthouse extension and now its show me this two errors:
ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at :12:220
ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at :14:47
Any idea to solve this problem?
]]>Love your plugin! But when it’s activated I am having slight problems with Slider Revolution when it’s JS is deferred. Content after the slider is loaded before the slider, then the slider appears which causes content to jump down. Awgh! I thought it is caused by deferring, but after deactivating your plugin problem was solved. There’s an error message in Chrome console indicating that placeholder was not created due to problems with JQuery – https://prnt.sc/oa8iw4
