I have a plugin that converts jpeg images to webp.
The current settings I have for JQuery means that ‘pin it’ doesn’t work on the image.
Its working fine on images with jpeg: https://www.beautyspace.com.au/best-coffee-scrubs-australia/
Let me know how I can fix this.
Thanks
My Pin It button is only showing a red square, without any pinterest logo. I have tried changing the logo within the settings and it’s not accepting a change either. The logo only shows when I’m logged into wordpress. My audience however, is only seeing a red square.
I use WP Rocket and I have cached the site. I also use Generate Press hosted on Siteground. This problem has only recently crept up.
Any help appreciated
Kerry
Is there a setting or code to be able to exclude the “pin it” button from showing up in my sidebar “related posts” or “featured posts” images? I have the settings for the image selector set to jpibfi_container img which says it’s appearing only in the content, but the thumbnails in the sidebar are showing it.
My site is currently in maintenance mode to fix some issues, but let me know if you need access to it.

Hello,
I noticed that even though I have set the description source (Please see the first screenshot below). I am not able to get any text when I try to pin an image (see the second screenshot). There is text in the image description, post description etc but none of them is showing

Please help investigate why that is the case and how the visual description can be shown when someone pins an image.
Look forward to your assistance please.

Is this plugin still supported? If so, please test it with the current version of wordpress.
In the description you mention “edit your image’s HTML and add a data-pin-id attribute with the value equal to your Pin Id.
Alternatively, you can open the image editor in the WordPress editor and paste the Pin Id into the Pin ID setting in Advanced Options.”
How can I edit the image HTML? Or where is the Pin ID setting in WP image editor? I have a free version of this plugin – is that only available in PRO hence I cant find it? I’d like to add the repin attribute to my images…
When I try to pin photos from my blog to pinterest (which I’ve done many times in the past), I now get an error message stating “Something went wrong.
Sorry, this image is broken. Please pick a different image.” This is happening to all of the images on my website now, even ones that I have previously pinned as recently as one month ago. Please help?
Hi!
Thanks for your plugin! Works great with one exception. It is not working on my custom post type. Everywhere else including regular posts is working perfectly. Link above shows an example of it not working on the custom post type. Same for all of the portfolio posts.
I have added the post type in the “On which pages the “Pin it” button should be shown” settings and nothing is excluded.
Here’s what I have in the ‘show on’ settings:
[front],[home],[single],[page],[archive],[search],[category],[portfolio]
Checked for spelling / typos and copy / pasted to be sure.
I read the troubleshooting docs but didn’t see anything relevant to this problem.
I have cleared the cache multiple times but that did not help.
Image selector is currently set to default: .jpibfi_container img but I have also tried just img without any change.
The images have no hover effect or anything fancy like that.
We are using Beaver Builder but I don’t think that’s the issue since the button works on other pages of the site. Portfolio posts do have a BB template applied but so do blog posts and those are okay. I thought maybe it was because the images on those posts are setup as a lightbox gallery but as a test I put a plain image on the portfolio post template pulling from featured image and that also did not get a pinit button so thinking it’s more to do with the custom post type than the gallery module. That’s been removed now as it’s a live site.
Thanks for any help!
Jen
Hy,
This plugin is supported for background image ?
Can you please let me know if supported in Background Image.

Hello! I’d love to use this plugin but I would not want the ‘Pin It’ button to show on all images. I know there’s a way to disable it by adding the additional ‘nopin’ class, but unfortunately I’m using another plugin that uses shortcode and it’s not possible to add additional class for shortcode. Thus, I’m wondering if there was a way round this. Is there any additional CSS that would disable the ‘Pin It’ button on all images? Then hopefully this would stop the shortcode images from showing the button and I could manually add it only on certain images.
Hello
I bought the pro version, but it won’t display on the mobile version?
I am running my website through Google PageSpeed insights and I get the following error “Ensure text remains visible during webfont load”.
Looking at details it shows fonts/jpibfi-font.ttf?ifsn2k(financialfreedomcountdown.com) and …fonts/jpibfi-font.woff?ifsn2k(financialfreedomcountdown.com) as the problem.
How can I resolve it?
Hello,
I am not sure why but my “Pin It” button is not appearing on any of my website photos. I cleared my cache and also deactivated/reactivated the plugin and nothing worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
I implementedt version 3.0.6 however the pin it button only shows up on galleries directly created with work press and not any of the photos on the theme.
I tried version 3.0.2 but that didnt work either…
Can you check it?
Dear Support Team,
I would like to exclude some of my images from pinning. I’m using the ‘Grow by Mediavine’ plugin to optimize my images for Pinterest and I also have an option there to disable pinning easily, which adds the following code to my images: data-pin-nopin=”true”.
It works if I try to use the Pinterest Chrome extension for pinning, as the images where I disabled pinning don’t show up there. However, when I hover over the images, the ‘Pin it’ button created by JQuery still appears, which means people can still pin my images, despite adding the nopin setting to the code.
Is there a way to fix this issue? I’ve read the documentation on how to disable pinning with adding ‘nopin’ to the Image CSS class or using the text editor and adding a class=”nopin” code manually but my problem is that I’m using Elementor and I don’t have either of these options. And since I’ve already added the data-pin-nopin=”true” code to my images with Grow, I would like to avoid adding another code, if possible.
I’ve copied a link to one of my pages where I disabled pinning on all images except the first one and the last two, and the ‘Pin it’ button still shows up on every images.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Kriszti
When we create new Pin, there’s a form to enter title, description and url.
But the Pinterest button missed the title parameter.
How can I add title to bookmarklet?
Hello! I am trying to use your plugin on an Elementor site. Plugin has been activated and configured, but I can’t see the Pins on my Post images.
I understand the Pro version might be required, which is fine, but I’d like to sort out what the problem might be before purchasing.
Can you help please?

Hello,
I want to implement the plugin, and it seems to work quite well.
However, I have some ecommerce links in my article, that, sadly, do not have any class. So I want to exclude them based on the fact that the img href contains a word, for instance amazon.
The following code, used in the console, return the right number of items:
jQuery(‘.mvp-post-soc-out img:not([src*=”amazon”],[src*=”fnac”])’).length
However, in the plugin, it doesnt seem to work. I tried several things, but I can’t make it work.
Any ideas or suggestions?
In the meantime I have no choice but to desactivate the plugin as I don’t want to see the buttons on my ecommerce links…
Thanks
Hi! Since a month the plugin does not show the “pin it” anymore on my images. However, the link is still there and works. I use chrome and i already tried emptying the cache. Can you help me?

Hey there,
Thank you for that great plugin. We’ve been using it for years now.
There was one thing bugging me:
I wanted to remove the top margin on the first element in the content, but found out that
was actually the first element.
Is it neccessary to put it inside the content? It could be moved to the footer as well, couldn’t it?
Can you change this or is it not worth it?
Thank you,
Josef
PS: In the meantime, I’m selecting the first element by .entry-content > .jpibfi + *
It’s been a year since the last update. Is this plugin still supported & being developed?
