]]>The menus were working find, but, for some reason, they suddenly stopped disappearing. Now both menus – mobile and desktop versions – are both visible on all screens.

It’s a mobile first site, and I haven’t done much styling beyond mobile at this point. So things look pretty jumbled on larger views. But that’s normal.

]]>There seems to be a possible conflict with the “Feed Them Social” plugin.
When I have it activated the jQuery Responsive Select Menus stop working.
Oddly, they do work on desktop browsers with windows reduced to the specified mobile widths, but they dont’ work on my actual mobile device (iPhone 6) for some reason.
When I deactivate “Feed Them Social” plugin they work again in all cases.
Any idea of a cause?

This plugin sounds ideal for my site, as I’ve only recently guessed that my custom theme doesn’t support mobile menu options, or so it would appear. I’m a semi-beginner with WordPress, but I think my issue here is that I’m not using the correct Menu Container Class / ID for my site.

I’ve checked the option to ‘disable’ placeholder links in the menu, and one of my parent items, ‘Portfolio’, is set to be a completely blank custom link.
However, when I click it in the select menu it takes me to a URL that is the current URL with the word ‘Portfolio’ appended.
When I check the option to remove the placeholder link, however, it works fine. But that’s not ideal for us, we’d like to have it there just as an unclickable element.
Any ideas why it might not be working for me?

]]>So far this plugin seems to be exactly what I need, and I love that I can choose which menus are affected, etc. The problem I have, however, is that when the menu is deployed on a mobile page, the page is now too wide and can be scrolled side to side a few pixels. I reduced the width of the menu to max 80% via CSS, but the problem persists. Can you help me solve this?

]]>How can I get the menu to fill the width of the browser window? Right now, it is only filling the length of the longest word in the menu. I would like it to go entire length of the screen as shown in the screenshots.

if ( li.hasClass('current_page_item') ) {
This causes only pages to be selected as current items for the dropdown menu on mobile phones.
This line should be changed to:
if ( li.hasClass('current-menu-item') ) {
Which selects posts, products or any other thing the menu item may be pointing to that’s current.
Please apply this fix to your otherwise great plugin.

]]>Updated to the latest version today but unfortunately the select menu no longer appears as it should: https://www.karks.com (of course you would have to change your browser width or view with a mobile to see it normally).

1. Add a plugin-related prefix to variable php_params in wp_localize_script() and jrsm-jquery.js as described in docs, e.g. jrsm_params or jrsmParams.
2. The extra call of wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); is not nesessary as array( 'jquery' ) is listed as $deps within wp_enqueue_script( 'jrsm-jquery' ... ) call, see also docs.
3. If empty links are shown, could you add an additional option which makes it possible to add the prop disabled to these empty links <option> tags?
4. In admin.php:48 the string 'Main Settings' is not yet localized.

]]>I’m getting three select menus showing once the browser width gets down to about 770px.
However, at the widest width I’ve set for it to kick in (800px), there’s only one.
I’ve checked my css media settings, and don’t see any reason for it.
One has the page it’s on showing in the menu (which is how I have the plugin set), the other two say “Navigation”, which is what I have set for the top level to show.
Anyone know what’s causing this? Thanks.
