Attention, plugin author: Your plugin is creating unnecessary alerts by the Wordfence security plugin due to the way you are changing the “tested up to” date.

This plugin works super well on Edge, Opera and Chrome but not on Firefox.
Do you have any ideas as to why that might be please?
]]>Hi,
This plugin works great if the server actually uses HTTPS but my server sometimes has to do some actions internally. I use NGINX as the web-server with PHP-FPM. The structure is as follows: client -> nginx server handling HTTPS and serving the proxy -> nginx server serving static content and proxies PHP-FPM -> PHP-FPM.
So the second proxy does not use HTTPS and can not be reached using cURL internally when this plugin is installed. I would like to use the plugin as a must use plugin so all content uses HTTPS. But websites that do not use HTTPS would not be able to reach. Can you make it so the plugin can be “enabled/disabled” depending on the scheme, or if certain headers are present that would indicate the server was proxied from HTTPS? Or give a suggestion how that would be done?
Kind regards,
Luc
Your plugin is not compatible with:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/complianz-gdpr/
This occurs sporadically. A page that was HTTPS suddenly becomes HTTP. This causes a dangerous situation because the website is suddenly without HTTPS protection and without notification. Only disabling the plugin and reenabling it temporarily fixes the problem. Tested on over 10 installations.
]]>You say, “Your web server must be configured with an SSL certificate and able to handle HTTPS request” — but I don’t have server-level access, although I can SSH into the installation.
Also, if I’m using a Letsencrypt certification, will your plugin handle the required autorenewal?
Thanks very much!
]]>I installed the extension JSM force http to https and i activated it without ssl certificat and now i can’t access anymore to my site neither my wordpress administation page.
I tried to remove all the site and upload an old version with filezilla but the access is still denied
i have ” SSL ERROR, There is no SSL certificate configured for this domain”
How can i get back my site in http?
Installed this 1/2 hr ago, but it doesn’t appear to be working. No redirect to HTTPS. Thanks.
]]>Hello!
Tried to force WP to use https – as a result -cannot login and Too many redirects message.
How could I safely disable and delete the plugin to go back to http?
Thanks!
]]>Bonjour
Merci pour votre plug très efficace .
je rencontre toutefois un problème curieux, je dois désactiver le plug pour pouvoir sauvegarder/ mettre à jour mes changements sur mes pages… pas sur les articles … tres curieux
]]>Hello,
I thought all was going well with the plug-in until I checked my media gallery where I now have all gray squares instead of thumbnails. I deactivated the plug-in, but the images did not come back. I would appreciate your thoughts. I realize this is a holiday weekend.
Thank you,
Cteriffic
Hi. I was trying to quickly fix some mixed content security errors in our site, which was recently migrated from a non SSL version. I installed the JSM’s Force SSL / HTTPS, but it hasn’t cleared all of the errors and now it won’t let me log in as usual! Your assistance would be appreciated.
]]>I installed your plugin last week and also gave it a 5 star review. It appeared to be working correctly but today I have noticed on my c-panel that I am still getting some visitors to the http version of my site.
Your plugin is listed as defining the following:
FORCE_SSL
FORCE_SSL_ADMIN
FORCE_SSL_LOGIN
Are those added to the wp-config file or .htacess file?
The only thing I am seeing in my wp.config file is the “FORCE_SSL_ADMIN” that I manually added to the wp.config file before I started to convert the site to https.
Note, I moved the wp.config file up one level for security reasons so I do not know if that will affect the plugin from finding the config file.
I did not notice any additions to the .htacess file.
Thank you for any trouble shooting or help that you can provide.
]]>I am the author of a five star review for this plug-in but now it does not seem to work quite as well. I’m finding that after installing the plug-in I then have to manually amend every image from http to https which when there are perhaps 100 images can be quite a hassle. Am I missing something here?
]]>Hi, can you make it so it also forces external links to be https? Thanks.
