Thanks so much for resolving the previous support ticket! I thought I open a new thread here to keep things streamlined.
I’m not sure if there is a feature request pipeline but it would be amazing if the plugin (or the Post Metadata plugin) would also allow the modification of metadata. We know we can already delete metadata using your plugin but the modification option would be great too.
We have one specific use case which might be a bit of an edge case. We use a delivery date picker plugin with WooCommerce but it’s currently still incompatible with subscriptions (not your problem of course). So when a customer wants to update the regular date of their subscription delivery we have to set up an AutomateWoo flow which runs shortly before the subscription renews to update meta fields of the subscription that way. It’s the only way we’ve figured out that let’s us semi-easily modify the delivery date meta fields without have to going directly into the database. If your plugin however would allow the modification of the metadata that would make it even easier as we can just change the date meta without having to create a whole AutomateWoo flow for it.
]]>Hi there,
Have been using your Post Meta plugin for ages and just discovered this one as well. I installed it instead of the Post Meta plugin but I can’t see the meta boxes anywhere? They’re not hidden via Screen Options, I have full admin user rights, and I tried with both a processing and an on-hold order in case that makes a difference. I don’t have any issues seeing the meta data when using your Post Meta plugin.
Also – could you let me know what the difference between the two plugins is?
