The plugin makes the site insecure through mixed content. Images are not showing up, links are opening in the same window so the person that clicks leaves the site. These matters where addressed years ago, but it seems there is no development for years.
Choose another plugin, please

The plugin generally works well, but causes mixed content in an https environment. For whatever reason, the plugin loads both your secure Twitter avatar and the same image from a “http” location. There is probably a way around this if you are proficient in editing javascript, but I am not.
I was able to resolve this issue simply by replacing the shortcode string that shows the avatar from avatar=”1″ (shows the avatar) to avatar=”0″ (does not show the avatar).
If the author were to solve this issue in the plugin I would give it a 5 star rating.
I’m not the first person to have this issue. Same topic here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/widget-causes-mixed-content-in-https-site/

Subject says it all really. I’ve added my APIs and sometimes the widget shows up the “unable to load feed” message, other times it just stops the site loading entirely – both the live page and my widget page.
Disappointing, since I really like the Juiz Post Sharer plugin, and it works perfectly.

Attempted to use this plugin on my server. Developer replied to first couple messages on WordPress forum, but never offered a working solution.

It’s a great plugin. Tried few others, but have to say this one handles the customizations on the theme I made and fits really nice on my blog. What I like most is the way the tweets are displayed, really fancy and cool.
Not that I’m using it, but looks like the background color of the tweets is not displayed very well with IE9, anyway I’m happy Firefox user ??
Keep up the good work!

This appears to be a well-crafted and effective plugin.

Since the Twitter API migration to API v1.1 this plugin stopped working. I even setup a new App with Twitter with new tokens and it still didn’t work. Deactivated. Simple Twitter Tweets does work with the new API. Search for it and use that as a replacement.

Thanks for keeping this plugin working and up-to-date with the latest Twitter app requirements. FYI: I did not find this plugin when searching this site with “twitter widget”. Very strange?

Thanks Geoffrey, this is an excellent flexible plugin for displaying tweets.

Works quite well. Note – the widget now requires the creation of a Twitter plugin inorder to function – but this is very simple to do and the instructions are provided on the widget settings page.

Love this plugin. Geoffrey, the plugin author was quick to respond about my small issue (& showing as ‘∓’ in the twitter feed) with an updated version of the plugin. Great support. Love the styles and the ability to add custom styles.

A simple and straightforward plugin that doesn’t require javascript to show your last(s) tweet(s).

Does what it’s supposed to do, installation and setup are a breeze, custom CSS option available for those who want it.
