Hi, in the latest wordpress versions, html tags are allowed in the excerpt. Your plugin strips them off for some reason. Any tips on how to allow the html tags to pass in the excerpt?

I found your sliding-plugin after searching and testing of (felt) all possible plugins.

And finally I found yours – working as desired…

…except the fact, that posts of current day are not appearing in the slider (slided by category).

When I change the release date of my post to yesterday, it appears.

I am trying to use the slider for something like “Breaking news” or “Featured News”… so I don’t want to wait until tomorrow to see it ??

Is there an if-statment in a php-file which I have to edit?

Hello!

I’m back after using this great plugin for a while and I’ve got some suggestions/issues.

I’m using a featured image shortcode before every post and I see that the excerpt on JWD’s widget displays an excerpt from the post itself and not from the excerpt field that is in the WordPress editor the shortcode.

I mean not from this:
https://www.mhthemes.com/support/files/2014/07/Custom_Excerpts.png

So by doing that, the shortcode appears everytime before the post inside the widget and it’s really bad.

And another suggestion about the categories.
It seems that you can choose only one category to display in the widget, why is that? Could you please add an option to select and display certain categories of our choosing or even display them all?
