I have created a template to use in every products, as common info.
But I want to add after this template custom content, created inside each product. When I click to edit with Elementor inside edit product page I have an error message that says there is no content area. I must call the_content function.
How can I do this? There is no way to combine template and custom content?

We are faicing the issue with Kadence free theme and Elementor Pro, with a basic function like anchor widget. I added the anchor widget from elementor to the theme, when i click the link word or button the achor works and directs me to the place where it should, however the theme creates an extra url (please see video https://imgur.com/a/l83s0o5 ) and for example when you refresh the page it will jump again to the achor section.
We have contacted the Elementor support team first and they back tu us with this:
"After I disabled all 3rd party plugins besides Elementor, and Elementor pro and switched the theme to the Hello Elementor, the issue disappeared. Please check the following loom I made for you.

And we have created as well our test website without Kadence theme, and with Hello Elementor theme, no 3rd party plugins and works perfectly.

So the theme is causing the issue for sure. Any help would be appriciated, this is so basic fuction that we do no want tu use for it 3rd party plugins as it is only anchor. We are not realy techical people but we will follow your guidance.

It doesn’t seem to support translation of WPML.
Secondly, if we delete template, it seems to go into trash but there is no “Trash” option from where we can permanently delete this from database.

]]>I have created a new product template and saved it. I even added some content to make sure the page wasn’t blank. The page is an Elementor Full Width.
When I go to a product to assign it a product template, the newly created template does not appear in the list as an option to select. I have even logged out and cleared my cache. The new product template does not appear. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

We are testing with this plugin to build unique product single pages. We already imported the notebook example json. Now we are able to insert the template on a single product page. But we are not able to get this 100% to work. The “default” product name, picture, short description, price, etc. is still here and we are not able to delete the block within elementor.

P.s: currently we are using Generatepress Pro with elementor Pro

After activating this plugin I see no new wigdets in an elementor panel. Where are they? How to use this plugin? – please provide more info and help. I know this is made before elementor wc builder, but please explain the current use, give us new video (not from 2018), give some current screenshots.

I try to add product social to my product page template and it isn’t visible on the page, only grey box on the template and no content option to customize.
The second issue is with shortcode, it gives me 500 server error when I add a shortcode to the text or shortcode field in a product template.

I am just getting started building some templates to use throughout my store, using the Kadence WooCommerce Elementor Plugin. I am enjoying being able to have the freedom to do a lot of the styling and appreciate the plugin.
I have hit a road block though. When I create a product with variations, it creates a very ugly box and pull down menu, with no options for styling.
Is there a way of styling a variable product that I’m not seeing.

However, I would like to know if a template can be duplicated.
In other words, I’m creating 5 product templates that are very similar to each other … it would therefore be very useful for me to create a complete template, then duplicate it 4 times, by making the small changes in each of these 4 template “children”.

I really like this plugin! Unfortunately my beautiful product page only works properly with Chrome. It looks messy in all other browsers. :/
Actually the Kadence elements look okay ( I use “picutre gallery”, “product add to cart” and “product price”).
But I also added standard elementor elements to the page to create a FAQ section (regular text, headings and icons) and those are really out of place… no padding, weird fonts, …
Other pages on my site which I built with elementor look good in any browser, so my conclusion was that there might be a conflict with this Plugin.
Any ideas?

]]>I isolated an issue on a site I’m working on to a problem editing Woo Product Templates when the plugin Custom Content Shortcode is active.
When CCS is active, you cannot edit any Woo Product Templates – instead it will go to a 404 error on the frontend of the site. If you happen to have any Woo Product Templates open and you active CCS and then click UPDATE, it will pop up a little 404 notification.
]]>just getting this question out of the way in my troubleshooting … is this plugin only for Kadence themes or should it be fairly compatible with other themes such as Astra? I am using Astra (free) and Elementor (free) and I only get the ability to edit the description area. Also the top portion of the page is pretty screwy, showing a placeholder product image and not editable.
i’m sure it’s my setup somehow. not knocking the plugin at all. just looking for some pointers.

We have created a custom template for the product shop page and added a condition to the template so it is used on the Shop page. But when we view the shop page, it shows a fatal error:

In the template builder menu, there is a section of blocks at the top labeled “Product Archive”. Below that is a section labeled “WooCommerce”. Can the blocks in the WooCommerce section be used to build a custom archive template, or are those blocks only intended to be used on a single product page template? I’m just wondering if the fatal error is being caused by us using the wrong type of blocks on the archive template.

]]>I just bought the pro version to be able to redesign category archive pages, BUT it seems I have no way to assign templates to categories!
‘Product Archive Template’ option which according to your documentation (https://www.kadencethemes.com/build-shop-pages-with-woocommerce-elementor-pro/) should appear in the ‘edit product category’ and enable the user to assign a custom template to a given product category – is not appearing in the edit product category pages.
p.s.I have enable WooCommerce pages in elementor setting

In fact, after the publication of a product template there are no related changes in the products. I have disabled all those additional plugins of other developers but the problem remains.
