I’ve waited 6 months for this plugin and their extensions to support PHP 8.
I’ve contacted them over 10 times about this topic on different occasions. I’ve provided exact code that their developers could use to fix this issue. I’ve created Github tickets and provided many screenshots. Their response was basically “We do not plan on supporting PHP 8 at this time. We might get it to at some point. Why do you even want to use PHP 8?”. My response was: speed, security, it’s the future of PHP… I thought that would be obvious to a developer.
Currently they will not respond to my support requests, even thought I have purchased their lifetime license on their site.

Plugin good at first glance.
The main problem I have is that it isn’t perfect for membership site, hopefully they can fix this.
If a WP user creates a support ticket, but enters a different email address than the one on their account, KB-Support doesn’t link this “KB-Support customer” to WP user, instead creates a new “customer” in KB Support.
This makes for a lot of extra work trying to find the actual WP user (when trying to change their details, or fix account problems, etc), especially a problem for me running a membership website.
I have tried deleting the duplicate KB-Support customer, changing the email address of the other KB-Support customer to the new one (matching the WP user email address), and it still doesn’t link to the WP user.

KB Support has been a real life-saver and has enabled me to get rid of the over-priced support platform that I had been using.
The plugin is well-built, is very intuitive and has worked faultlessly, providing all the features you need to provide a first-class support system and doumentation.
The extensions are very reasonably priced and with the addition of the Email Support extension I have everything I had from my previous help desk provider and more!

This is a great ticket system for WordPress. I’ve added the premium extensions Canned Replies, KB integration, and Email Piping. It does all that I need without having to pay a high monthly fee for a 3rd party ticket service.

This could go 1 of 2 ways.
1. I leave a long exhaustive review about how incredibly amazing (and refreshing), not only this plugin, its features, its ease of use, its clean design, but of it’s incredible support! Holy cow! This isn’t an exaggeration, not at all. Support that you can get with this is worth twice any of the paid extensions and priceless over the ability to install this for free with an already impressive set of features out of the gate. I’m talking features that are paid extensions for other “popular” ticketing systems. I mean, there’s even a couple minor conveniences that others don’t even have as paid extensions. We utilize a certain Knowledge Base that wasn’t in the list and are tied to it with the best of loyalties and love. So naturally I am curious as to their little addition about how they welcome the offer to request others. I gave in. I opened a ticket with my little quirks and passive aggressive desires… and guess what… It’s getting worked on for inclusion. So fast that I saw their email coming in acknowledging it, but not just that, with a little packaged test runner. *GASP*. Have you ever? I certainly haven’t. I haven’t even responded to their ticket wherein I thank them and offer my first born grandchild, so this is a surprise to them in return.
There is nothing more refreshing than opting for an in house Ticketing system that additionally offers such amazing support, skilled developers, and turnkey solutions that you have a hard time finding through other vendors. I’d give all the stars in the sky for this if I could. These guys need more notoriety for their product. The others may get you with their glitz and glamour, but dig deep and you’ll see they are just money pits with stale articles and stale development. 100% real deal here and I’m officially a loyal fan.
2. It’s great yeah, so what are YOU waiting for? You’re here, you obviously need a solution like this, stop hesitating. 5/5

Don’t you hate it when a review starts with the reviewer’s credentials and how you should trust their views because they did x, y, and z in the past n number of years? Well, apologies to disappoint but this is one of those reviews. The reason is that in our company, customer support takes precedence over anything else. A product is only as good as the support behind it.
The long version of the story: we spent hours trying all other helpdesk plugins. Each one had its own quirks. We had two main requirements: guest tickets and bi-directional email support. i.e. it would be impractical to have the agents have to login to a website to respond to tickets. Out of all the plugins out there, only Awesome Support provides the latter. But, that plugin had some other critical and irreconcilable issues with our theme. We tried another one, and requested a refund which is yet to come. And, luckily, I found KB and I was not even going to try it because of the number of installations and reviews. Fortunately, I had run out of choices and decided to give it a try.
The first attempt failed polling our Exchange IMAP mailbox. So, after exhausting all possible solutions, I contacted their support and got a response back quickly. They offered to login to our system and figure out the issue. And, lo and behold, they found the issue and fixed it. At no extra cost. This is was a complete shock having had to go through all the other plugins.
So, feeling emboldened, I asked for KB product to support integration with Ultimate Member plugin. And, lo and behold, that was also done.
I would say that I am pleasantly surprised but it’s more like a shock. This level of customer service/satisfaction is what makes a company stand out.
The product itself is easy to use and well integrated with everything else. Unlike others with 1000s of extensions, the extensions are well organized. And, with its price, why would anyone even blink?
To circle back to my credentials, for years we used HelpScout but this month will be the last. Everything is migrated to KB.
If you ever run into any issues, contact KB’s impeccable support and rest assured that it’ll be resolved.

Wasted a lot of time setting this plugin up to discover that it was not responsive! So unless you’re still stuck in pre-mobile phone days I suggest you stay clear. The ticket response page etc. look nasty on a mobile! Hoping for quick resolution so I can update my review accordingly. Because of the lack of responsiveness still am not able to use it for support so can’t say much there
