After updating the plugin we no longer see the on site messages in cart and product pages. Why is this happening?

The only think we have added in functions.php is the following snippet

If the billing address in the checkout is in Switzerland, Klarna is not displayed as a payment method.

We have added Switzerland in the Woo backend, but there is no field where we can enter the API.

We have selected all EU countries. Here Klarna is displayed in the checkout, so the integration is correct.

What reason could there be for Switzerland not to be approved?

alla of a sudden a big black Continue with Klarna button apeared on cart page just above continue to checkout button.

The setting on the admin dont seem to work.

Since updating Klarna Payments For Woocommerce on our staging site from 3.7.3 to 3.8.0, the onsite messaging is no longer appearing on any pages other than the checkout page.

We are seeing recurring failed actions for the kp_wc_authorization hook, with associated fatal errors.

Hello.

We have been using the plugin for a while and keep having problems with orders that do not go directly to processing and are sent from the warehouse as usual.

The order notes then say “customer aborted purche with klarna” and orders are “pending” for ages.

However, customers don’t seem to notice that the payment has failed.
So after a few weeks without any progress on the order, we receive an inquiry from the customer and embarrassingly have to admit that they should pay again because we didn’t realize that it didn’t work.

Other payment methods set the order status to “failed” if the payment fails.
We already have an automatic mechanism that sends customers an email when the order is changed from “on hold” or “pending” to “failed”.
However, this does not work with Klarna because Klarna leaves the order status on “pending”.

How can we get Klarna – like the other payment service providers – to set an order to “failed” if something goes wrong with the payment?

Current implementation in klarna-payments-for-woocommerce/classes/class-wc-gateway-klarna-payments.php in WC_Gateway_Klarna_Payments::country_currency_check at line 230 has a flaw:

if ( ! isset( KP_Form_Fields::$kp_form_auto_countries[ $country ] ) ) {

}

You are trying to access array value by key (highlighted in bold) first and then do isset() check and exit the function if it’s not found. Unfortunately this generates a PHP warning for undefined array key every time this method is called.

Even if I changed the label into Klarna settings, I still see the default label during checkout.
My customer do not understand the “Pay later” when they are looking for the installments.

Why the custom label is not showing?

I tried to generate new API key. But same error.

I was wondering if I have this issue since I created a playground environment. May be it is linked. By the way, I really don’t know what to do as in my klarna portal, everything seems good.

after your latest update, the on-site messaging feature that displays Klarna installment payments on product pages is no longer appearing on my website. Upon investigating the issue, I found the following error in my PHP logs:

PHP Warning: Undefined array key “klarna_onsite_messaging_sdk” in /public_html/wp-content/themes/Divi/includes/builder/feature/JQueryBody.php on line 249

It seems that the Divi theme is trying to access the klarna_onsite_messaging_sdk array key, which is either missing or not initialized properly by the Klarna On-Site Messaging plugin since the recent update.

Could you please advise on how to fix this?

we’ve got a serious problem with how discounted products are being handled. Here’s the deal:

1. On our site: Everything looks good. Discounts are applied and shown correctly.
2. Checkout process: Still all good. Discounted prices are displayed as they should be.
3. The problem: When customers are redirected to the Klarna platform to complete payment, the original (non-discounted) price is shown instead of the discounted price.

Example:

• Product original price: €100
• Discounted price on our site: €50
• Price shown on Klarna platform: €100 (This is wrong)

This is causing major issues:

• Customers are seeing incorrect (higher) prices when they’re about to pay.
• It’s damaging trust and likely causing lost sales.

How can we fix it?

When a product is out of stock, the Klarna Express Checkout button on the product page remains active and clickable, but it should be disabled or hidden for out-of-stock products.

Hello, I faced a problem with very slow response from Ajax Add to Cart on Shop and Single Product pages. After long time debugging, it turns out that your plugin is causing this issue. More precisely, kp_is_checkout_page() function is taking extra 1,5-2 seconds for processing, which is called by woocommerce_after_calculate_totals action – https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/klarna-payments-for-woocommerce/trunk/classes/class-kp-session.php#L57.

I was able to solve this problem by replacing the conditions kp_is_checkout_page() and kp_is_available() in line 66 – https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/klarna-payments-for-woocommerce/trunk/classes/class-kp-session.php#L66.

Current version:

Fix version:

Orders have just recently stopped syncing with WooCommerce order updates. Orders are being placed just fine, but when we edit an order in WooCommerce, by removing a product, the order is not automatically updated in our Klarna dashboard. The customer is never refunded. Also another strange thing is that when a user is logged in the strings are in Greek both in the Greek and English site, and when a user is logged out the strings are in English Greek and English site. I’m trying to integrate klarna into our checkout on a test version of the shop. We use a plugin called wp deposits https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-deposits/

When I add something to my basket and then click to pay with klarna from the cart page I end up with an error, if I disable the deposits plugin it goes away. The problem is that the deposits plugin is essential for the shop. Is your plugin compatible with the deposits plugin? Is this something that you have seen before?

I am using your plugin successfully for quite some time but recently I came across a weird problem where if I create an order with different billing and shipping details and I run into the error

Not matching fields: [shipping_address.given_name, shipping_address.family_name]

So if I use a different shipping given name and shipping family name from billing given name and billing family name , I cannot complete and order no matter the Klarna payment method I chose. I have checked the Klarna logs and data seems to be transferred correctly.
