I am absolutely LOVING this plugin. Adding custom blocks seamlessly to the content editor greatly increased my quality of life. Ha ha. Seriously, great plugin. Well designed and executed. Cheers!

We have made some advanced blocks mixed with custom PHP functionality and this plugin has saved us a tremendous amount of time. Highly recommend for devs and non devs.

The plugin is great, it helped and speeded up the process of developing custom blocks with pre-defined options for authors. The options to create any block with any function are endless.
I ran into an issue once and the personal support by the developer solved the problem in few days. I can really recommend the plugin. I purchased the pro version and it is going be part of many future pages we develop as an agency.
I can recommend the plugin to everyone who want’s to transition to full site editing and Gutenberg, but doesn’t want to completely forget all the WordPress development we learned and loved the last 20 years.

Not satisfied with the core implementation of HTML5 elements? Or are they missing completely? Create them yourself!
I matter of minutes, not hours, I had a custom-built HTML5 Video Block, that supports the default attribute, something that for some reason is lacking in the core block.
I’ve also built an address block, and a progress bar block.
All plain and well-supported HTML elements, that hasn’t arrived in WordPress core for some reason, but provides so much value that it makes sense to add them manually.
Experimenting on a dev site? Great. When done, export the block, and import it on production.
Works like a charm!

I really like the direction the new Site Editor in WordPress is developing – building custom blocks for Gutenberg though can be a nightmare. With the Lazyblocks plugin on the other hand this could not be easier! I’m using it in many of my clients websites, when i quickly need to implement a feature using blocks.
And i couldn’t help myself getting my hands on the Pro version just to support the development of this awesome piece of software. Full recommendation!
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Great plugin to easily create Gutenberg Blocks, but as I unfortunately had to learn, not usable for multilingual sites as it is not compatible with WPML.

Lazy Blocks is a great plugin working out of the box, with an amazing user interface and a lot of great options, allowing to build custom rich blocks very easily.
It’s build for developers and documentation is great too.

Getting the survey from author what to improve in this plugin – not too much there is, really. Amazing plugin.

We were looking for ways to create custom blocks as soon as Gutenberg was rolled-out. We tried various methods and plug-in options, but this is the best we’ve found.
When you need complete control over content input and design output, this plug-in offers everything you need.
An easy 5 Stars. Thank you.

This plugin is excellent. That’s what WordPress team should have done; but will never ever do. Luckily, there are skilled developers to build such needed features. Thanks for making it!

Adding gutenberg blocks is very easy with this plugin. Thanks!

This plugin is the best one I’ve found for creating your own Gutenberg blocks. Really great, thank you!!!

I am less of a funky javascript guy but more of oldschool php person and this plugin with php has made my work extremely easy !! Thankyou

I really appreciate that the author of the plugin sticks to Gutenberg’s UI, which, for example, is ignored by ACF and other plugins. Also it is possible to use a visual builder to create blocks and not just writing in code. I prefer own blocks in JS but if you need quick block even with some special features I think that Lazy Blocks is maybe the best plugin in this repository.
Thanks for that.

Since wordpress is about simplicity this widget is perfect for building a well adjusted gutenberg oriented wordpress for user.
It has everything what you need to build a fine gutenberg block. Of course it’s not divine from perspective of user like divi or other tool. However it’s lightweight and quite powerful (many conditions to setup).
As a developer i highly recommend it!

I simply love this plugin. On every WordPress site I create, this is the first plugin I install. It makes my work so much easier.

I never write reviews or endorse plugins. But, this is the exception after 12 years developing off and on with WP. This plugin solves too big of a problem with WP not to share a perspective.
If your a front-end developer looking for a completely “practical” integration solution for your custom templates/themes, this is a MUST HAVE!!! Especially if your looking for 100% bootstrap or RWD control.
Ever since the Gutenberg block editor was issued in WP, integrating custom templates has become increasingly convoluted. Yes, you can plugin a classic editor switch and ignore it (for now). Yes, you can stack up Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Content Aware Sidebars (CA), or other related solutions to force meta conditions. And yes, you can bloat the hell out of your (or your clients) site with builders like Elementor or Genisis page builders and marvel at the 10,000 additional lines of nested containers injected into your theme — as your site performance plummets and CSS inheritance issues plague your theme.
OR… you can just USE Lazy Block and feel a sense of pride in a clean integration that does what it promises and what you need it to do!!!
If this plugin was $500 for a developer license I’d gladly pay it for the headaches it solves. You can simply create any page-specific template file in your custom theme, and reference as little as 3 core dependencies like:
<?php /* Template Name: Hero Template */ ?>
<?php get_header(); ?>
<?php the_content(); ?>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
You can then create a new block in Lazy Blocks (like “Hero” for example) and drop in your entire page body structure. From there, it’s as simple as going through and adding controls to map any and every section of content, CTA or image you want to manage editing control over.
To manage versatility of sidebars, simply drop in a “inner block” in your sidebar wrapper and you can stack default — or your custom widgets (which can also be tamed in Lazy blocks) — into your markup.
With this plugin, I was able to save 20+ hours on theme integration, remove 5 add-ons (that were trying to help maximize control of edit-ability) and improve site performance and stability!
One other reviewer of this plugin stated, “It should be part of WP core” and he/she isn’t wrong!
Documentation is simple and succinct. The UI is minimalist and elegant and the integration results are exactly what you hope for!!

Combined with Bootstrap, it’s very easy to add graphic components. Before we used shortcodes to do this, it’s so much cleaner that way!!!
]]>Rating: 5 stars
This plugin makes it easily to get started with building out custom components for the Gutenberg editor to make building unique front-ends much easier without a bloated premium theme builder.

Rightfully named to make us lazy by making it so much easier to create Gutenberg blocks.

This plugin saved me a lot of time. Our customer maintains a web site to advertise events. For each event there is now one page. Each page consists of one big Lazy Block. Now it is easy for the customer to create or modify event pages. Some content is automatically created by gathering data from other pages, e.g. text and images about the event owner/organiser. Thank You so much for this easy to use and powerful Plugin.

This is a really amazing plugin that saved me a lot of time creating my own blocks. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely love this, even though the idea of storing PHP in the database scares me.
