well the plugin finally seems to do what it’s supposed to do, but in case someone else is wasting his / her lifetime with it trying to work with lead lists and trying to create new lead lists with double opt in turned on and not getting it to work. It seems like there default text

This plugin looked like just what I needed: a simple tool to collect leads from a form in a list, plus an info-email every time someone signed up. I installed the version from the WP plugins repository. Creating the form was super easy, and it also sent me an email notification, but the lead list remained empty. Then I registered and downloaded the other free version. Apart from the fact that I got two download links that looked just the same to me, and was not sure what to do with them, I decided to upload the zip. I got a new plugin called “Inbound now”, and it asked me for an API key. I found the requested key, entered it, and then it said “There was an error connecting to Inbound Now”. Sorry, that’s too much fuss. I’ll have to look for another plugin. ??

Easy to install and get working right away, however… the date fields are default to American format and support for help in changing this for the UK market appears to be non-existent.

User Beware:
1. Mailchimp integration doesn’t work (regardless of I.N. assurances).
2. It is excruciating to actually get any support. You’d think that with something as important as lead management that support would be prompt and competent —it has been neither in my experience.
3. Leads database has stopped working after latest update (and yes, I followed the prompt to update the database —I guess I shouldn’t have)
I’ll be transitioning over to another lead management system when I have the time to do the work of exporting my lead list, loading and setting up the new plugin and populating the database. I’m expecting I’ll have to manually migrate the database one lead at a time; as it’s too much to expect any automated features will work.

We installed the plugin on a friday and had leads coming in right away. Its unreal to see a potential client go to one area of the site and then watch as the conversation happens.
We are a service business and the calls are coming in.
I can say without a doubt have made 3 times more conversations than in the past with plain forms.
I had a little trouble with setup. i sent a message for support and within 15 minutes at night no less a reply was back . It was a mapping error on my end. Inboundnow has great support .
This is very similar to hubspot without $2200 a month expense.
I highly recommend this plugin.
And it’s only going to get better.

2. Too often too broken – in ex. now the text area in contact forms are broken (some div missing) – you’re not testing this stuff or what?

When this plugin is enabled, CF7 does two bad things when the user submits a contact form by pressing the button: it fires a second submission after the first successful submission, which immediately results in a failure message from CF7. And this plugin seems to result in CF7 keeping all of the user entered fields like name and email address “remembered” even when the user closes the browser and re-opens it later. You guys screwed things with a recent update because this never happened before. I disabled Leads and CF7 operates correctly.

Honestly, I’ve tried others and none make it so easy as the guys at InboundNow with this plugin. It’s freemium and works direct from wordpress… no hoping to another website to see leads etc – one place to create, use and access your data WP-admin.
Also having found a small bug I contacted the team and found the developers to be brilliant and really helpful. Great experience ??

These people are not serious. The idea behind is nice, and in some versions you will have some benefit of it. But then they will come up with a new version, hardly tested, which deletes some previous features or even worse, has not been tested on compatibilities and even blocking the visual editor as it is the case for their latest version. Try it if you want, but don’t rely on it for your business.

We are using the latest version of WordPress, 3.9.1 that is. Wherever we have a div.divider in our code, this plugin automatically adds a top border of 1px to that element!
This spoils the website’s design and functionality. We are not aware of any other issues this plugin has, and there may be several. But, would really appreciate if the developers could fix this, and we’ll revise our ratings.

I’ve used hubspot for a larger company for 4 years. We were on of their first batch of customers and the early software was rough. Over the years it became better (and more expensive).
I’ve been using the inbound now plugin for WordPress. What I like about it is that it’s easy to use and gives you an enormous amount of functionality for a plugin. It’s also early on in its lifecycle with tons of new features and enhancements coming out. That means jumping on board gives you a chance as a user to share your thoughts and ideas directly with the development team. In other words, you become part of making the product your own.
The support of this plugin is awesomely ridiculous fast and if you have any problems all you have to do is submit it and you can be rest assured someone will look at it and respond quickly. My support incident from this morning was responded to and resolved in less than a few minutes. I think that’s incredible and I hope that as Inbound Now grows they can maintain that level of awesomeness.
Given the pricing of professional inbound solutions these days, which can run thousands of dollars a month, this plugin is the deal of the century to manage your inbound marketing efforts.
I’m really looking forward to what this plugin will do in the years ahead!

After working through the other options and initially trying and giving up on Leads+CTAs+Landing Pages, I came back to Leads and worked through the kinks with great help from David Wells. I feel it is the best currently available CRM plugin, but at the same time it is not quite “there” yet. There are some slow or clunky interface issues, and I’ve had a lot of small but annoying problems with it in Firefox. That said, it is incredibly powerful for a free plugin, and I would pay for a pro version.
Leads has unique value in creating user records for contacts that are NOT WordPress users. If your leads will never become members of your site who need to log in, this is the way things should be done, and that is almost enough reason by itself to use Leads instead of the alternatives.
Leads works well with the major custom form plugins, but it has its own passable custom form creator. For the time being I prefer to use Leads without the Calls-to-Action and Landing Pages plugins — instead I use a standalone form plugin and theme support for landing pages. That may change if these other complementary InboundNow plugins evolve to become a solid, comprehensive solution.
Leads lends itself to relatively easy customization with adequate documentation and support if you take the time to sift through the rather cluttered InboundNow site. It’s on GitHub too, and the developers are extremely helpful.

Not only is this plugin very easy to use, it also has great functionality.
The analytics on the leads is a great bonus, so is the ability to export the leads.
Furthermore, the forms are easily customizable and the subsequent email to the address of your choice can be replied to that delivers it to the actual leads email address.
As well, the dev team was very helpful in troubleshooting. They proactively assisted with the troubleshooting, so much so that they actually ftped into my site and fixed the issue (which was caused by my host not being upgraded to newest version of php)

But for some reason it removes a few basic widgets from dashboard. In addition, it overloads other admin pages by its widgets.

If you have not hooked this plugin up to FullContact, do so! The data it collects is simply amazing. Collecting the leads social channels, time on site, pages viewed, landing page converted and so much more.
If you’re a marketer or small business owner this plugin is a MUST, like Yoast is.
I downloaded all three plugins 5 days ago. I am not techy and know ZERO CSS, but am about 98% ready to launch 4 new landing pages with CTAs. I had a few issues and David responded within minutes of me asking.
