Thank you! This plugin works well. I wish there was a way to add more than one link at a time. Perhaps this already exists? I will look around to see.

No support for bulk uploads, i.e. 5 at a time.
Also, it takes you to the media page after successful upload. There should be a button “Add from URL” next to the factory button “Add New” at the top of this type of page.
Add these features, and you’ll get my 5 stars. Great work.

It gets the job done, but tighter integration with the media uploader would be nice, such as…
1. On the Edit Media page, add at the top (next to the “Add New” button) an “Add New from URL” button.
2. Get rid if the Add New from URL links altogether, and add an additional field for URL on the existing Add New / Upload New Media page.

I love this plugin. It has saved me so much time. The ability to go directly to Media and add images from a URL is great. No convoluted menu navigation required. URL must have a .jpg extension though, as is stated in the plugin information. I would recommend this plugin; overall, it’s good.

It does not work when the URL contains spaces. Luckily I can change the URL so I can workaround the issue, but it would be much better if it worked out of the box with any valid URL. Five stars if you fix it.
