Hi Is there a way to display alt text on images with the lightbox?

I have created several content type lightbox blocks in one page (camila-aquino.com). On the back end, each block has its own content. However, on front end, all of the blocks will load the first block’s content on buttons’ click.

• I have an easy website https://www.erlernbar.ch/ with just a minimum of content.
• I have a .htaccess file which protects the wp-login script from unauthorised access.
• The site works perfectly so far.
• Now I’ve installed the lightbox block plugin to make the page a little nicer.
• As soon as i insert a lightbox block element on a page, the authentication dialogue is displayed when i call up the page. But only on my smartphone and not on my pc.
• I can close the dialogue box without entering the credentials and the page is displayed.
• In my opinion, the dialogue box should not be displayed because it is not a protected page.
• What can I do about it? Does the Lightbox block plugin need access to certain directories that may be protected with .htaccess?

I just updated the plugin to v 1.1.11 and was dismayed to find that it completely overwrote my homepage and replaced it with a photo of a mountain. It also changed the page title to “Lightbox” (which it what tipped me off to this plugin being the culprit). Thankfully, I was able to restore to a previous version, but this almost gave me a heart attack.

Greetings team. I like the functionality of this plugin and look forward to continue using it. I’d like to report a concern I’m having with the plugin I was able to identify.

ISSUE:
When opening up the WordPress editor for a Page or Post that contains this block, if you navigate away from the page without making any changes, WordPress will trigger a browser popup stating:

Leave site?
Changes you made may not be saved.

This is supposed to popup if there was some edit performed but you didn’t click the Update button. Since I didn’t do any edits, I found it odd to get this popup time after time.

CULPRIT:
Digging further into it and inspecting the Post Revisions, I was able to spot the auto-change that occurs: wp:lbb/lightbox {"cId":"xxxxxxxx-x" . In this line of code, the cId number changes when the editor is simply opened. Is there a reason for that? Is it possible that this CID number can remain the same?

The reason the popup warning can be annoying is because it can have you second guessing if you accidentally made any edits that you forgot about. So you can waste time inspecting the page to ensure it’s safe to either proceed with exiting or to save it just in case. These scenarios can be annoying and scary for an unsuspecting user.

This plugin is causing a critical error in Site Health that the PHP default timezone is invalid.

Here is the line in a file called FSAactivate.php.

date_default_timezone_set(‘Asia/Dhaka’);

I commented out this line and the error is gone.

1000s of schools have various restrictions, firewalls and concerns about allowing kids in their class rooms to access major social media video platforms like YouTube, and Vimeo.

Cloudflare is a tool that can take both Vimeo and YouTube links, and convert it in a way to allow schools to then see these educational videos.

It would be awesome if your plugin had the flexibility to play Cloudflare video links. This is an example of what a real link looks like through Cloudflare.

That link will go out to 1000’s of schools in educational areas of Agriculture. But the point is, if you can get Cloudflare links to work in your plugin, it will be a huge impact on the reliability and usage of your work with organizations like mine.

Would there be any possibility of adding this feature into you plugin?

If I include a link with target=”_blank”, in the caption input field and click it on the front-end of the site, it reloads the original page with the pop-up and opens a new tab, all at the same time.

Is there a way we can include a link in the caption area, and when clicks on, it still allows the pop-up on the original page to still be in place (i.e. no page reload).

If so, how can we set this up?

I installed this plugin. I have 1 .mp4 video file with 20 other photos. When the video is clicked, I would like to see arrows to click to the next image. And if an image is clicked, I would like to see that my video is also includes in the mix of photos to scroll to.

How can we set this up with this plugin? Right now, it does not mix.

Hi, thakns for your lightbox. It’s just what I needed. Is it possible to hide the logos that show up when you change it to a gallery with video/music or content?
