Hello – I just put a new security feature (Wordfence) on my website that I have your Huge IT Lightbox plugin on.

When I ran a security scan, it gave me this error on your plugin: “The Plugin “Block-Spam-By-Math” appears to be abandoned (updated May 16, 2009, tested to WP 2.7.1).”

Is there an updated version of this plug in that I can move up to?

I designed this site, so long ago, I have no idea where I am even using it!

I didn’t find any similar topic, so hopefully you can help me.
Every lightbox “slideshow” ends with a broken slide/image. It always appears after the last image of the page. It seams to be a broken link to pinterest – but I’m using the free version without any sharing features. And I don’t need this sharing feature there.
How can I solve this problem?

Why does the front page say “This plugin was closed on February 7, 2018 and is no longer available for download.” ???

Will it come back or do users need to find a replacement?

I have read this post (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/uncaught-typeerror-jquery-lightbox-is-not-a-function/). I have commented out the offending line.

Just wanted to see if you have a better fix than commenting this out since it can’t be done through the child theme (not that I know how) and the comment line will just be removed with the next update. Will you just have this removed from future updates?

Thank you for all your work!
I was using your Lightbox plugin to show some photos on each page of my blog to my followers.
But since the upgrade to WP 4.9.1 this is not more working : photos are only shown on screen without any possibility to slide or to close the window with the current picture :-/
What can I do to get back to a working situation showing my pictures like before WITHOUT having to review all the pages of my blog, please ?
If I check ‘old type’ into the plugin options, everything is right back like before.
If I check ‘new type’ it doesn’t work.
Can I stay with the ‘old type checked’ ?
Is there an upgrade of this plugin planned ?

Hello! I have an issue with my multisite version of the Lightbox plugin, as you can see from this page (https://www.ciamweb.it/en/la-grande-epicerie-paris/).
The problem is that opening the lightbox duplicate the displayed with the slideshow.
Moreover I have a JSON error in the javascript console: “SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data”
Unfortunately I can’t deactivate the plugin or change the theme, how can I fix this problem?

Hi, bought the personal version of this great lightbox, it’s working ok, apart from the descriptions. If I add a description to the media, the lightbox doesn’t pop up, it just puts the image on the screen with a black background.

Is there any way to get this description to display when hovering over the image, or somewhere else? Also I’d like to enlarge the font size for the Title.

I have some problem with using Huge-IT Lighbox with Ajax Load More. Lightbox works only after i go back from opening an image, on 1st load it does not work at all.

As I found in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43077859/loading-easy-fancybox-with-ajax-load-more-next-page-add-on “You have to tell the plugin that content is loaded, choosing the good event”. How can I do this with Huge-IT Lightbox?

If the lightbox plugin is activated, then the smooth scroll doesn′t work on iPhone.

I think the part body{overflow-x:hidden} in the css is the problem.

There are any workaround?

Afternoon, I am having an issue with Huge IT Lightbox. When I use the next arrow on my portfolio pages is shows the same image 5 times before it goes to the next image on the page.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any help would be greatly received.

The function get_images_url() In lightbox.php doesn’t check if $_POST[‘urls’] is empty or not.

Could you please add the following to the top of the function:

if ( empty( $_POST[‘urls’] ) ) { return; }

The DB query in this function also poses a possible security risk. People can get the post content of urls that they are unable to view via the frontend of the site, simply by posting that URL to your ajax action (which doesn’t do any nonce checks either). It would be best if you at least check for the post type, making sure only images are queried.

Hi, I really like this plugin, but it’s only working on woocomerce. In other pages and wordpress galleries does not work. I tried to change the theme, but it does not work either. Is there any way to make it work on every page? Thank you.

My theme already provides a Lightbox function to enlarge the featured image of a post. So with the Lightbox plugin installed, the featured image will be enlarged two times. Is it posible to disable the Lightbox plugin on featured images of a post but still use it on other images within the post? Thanks in advance! (Theme is Artbees Jupiter).

Hello,

It′s impossible to scroll with the mousewheel on the site while using the new type. If you scrolldown by moving the scrollbar and use the mousewheel, the page jumps to the start of the site.

When you click on a picture and close the lightbox, the scrolling works perfectly. Also the old type works like a charm.

This just happens in IE11. In Firefox and Chrome everything is normal.

we have suddenly the error below (in chrome console) and on the page It behaves like this – if you clink on any image and the lightbox slould open, nothing will happend but the page is suddenly inactive… you can not clict to any link, as if some invisible lightbox layer would be active and prevented from accessing the site content

Hi. I have Huge-IT Lightbox lite activated on my website and have put descriptions in for some photos. I have copied the descriptions to the captions box as well, but even though it is ticked in my options to show the descriptions it is not showing up.
I run SEO on my site so I can’t simply copy the description to the title as I don’t want every image to show a description, which means if i choose to show the title in settings every single image will show the image title and some will how description. This is not what i want. Due to SEO every single image MUST have a title so I can’t delete the title off the images i don’t want to show any thing. I simply need the description the to show as I have ticked it to show…

I’ve been getting a javascript error with huge it lightbox for some time, but only just got round to looking into it.

First thing I noticed that my installed version was ‘10.0’. Looking at the change log, I saw the latest change was 1.6.8, so I changed the value to that and (of course) it immediately said an update was available.

Thinking that may solve my problem, I immediately updated to version ‘2.1.0’.

Refreshed my page, opened the chrome developer console and unfortunately a new javascript error persists:

First of all, thanks for your plugin.
I’ve searched the support forum but I couldn’t find any suggestion for my problem.
I’d like to hide related videos from the youtube video lightbox. I’ve already set up the youtube link with the “?rel=0” attribute, but the plugin doesn’t get this option and still show the related videos inside the lightbox.

How can I fix this? Could you please help me with it?

After updating the plugin the lightbox doesn’t seem to work anymore. It’s giving this console error in firefox, ie11. I already rolled back the plugin to the previous version and it works again. Please fix this so I can update the plugin.

I narrow it down to w3 total cache plugin, when i dissable it, lightbox works fine…
But i still need the use of w3 total cache…. any suggestion??

When opening a portfolio, the lightbox show more images than the ones selected for it. It shows all the images on the page, even those not included in the portfolio.

Hi! How do we activate autoplay for YouTube videos? Asking because I need to start a video using the “start at” feature and it won’t activate without autoplay. Thanks!

I have installed the Pro version.

Here are the problems:

• If I select NEW TYPE – then my whole site gets messed on rendering. This means I have to use the OLD TYPE.
• If I insert a big image into a page, and then drag the corner to make it smaller to fit – the light box pop works but it only displays a small image. Even if I set the popup width and height to a huge figure – I still get a small popup image.
