WP should update modified date only when you make major changes to the article.
I think WP should ignore small changes, for example, correction of character, Replaceing image,changing tag, etc.

Thanks for this great little plugin.

I had an issue after migrating to a new SEO plugin. I had a few hundred posts that needed a simple update to fix the issue.

But as my blog shows an updated date, it would have wrecked the real recency of articles.

It solved the problem!

And also, now I can make any minor updates without changing the modified date.

May god bless the author of this plugin. This is a very very useful plugin for sites which display Last modified date on the front end.

repeatedly the one issue which arises is that u make one small change and the date changes. This plugin helps us do massive changes on site without tweaking the dates too much.
