After extensive testing we cannot reproduce the character limit of 950. The plugin appears to be working correctly in the latest version of WordPress 5.7.1.

I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to fix this?
There really isn’t a good solution for the plugin breaking when displaying a read more within an anchor tag. This plugin was a pick up from another plugin which we no longer use.
I would suggest using the built in WordPress option or using a function to display a specified amount of content then add a read more button manually.
Hello,
Running Limit Post Add-On 1.0 and user pointed out today that a Read More link was missing. On inspection the excerpted post was being cut off in the middle of a link tag like so
<a href="https://mysite.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/2015...

Continue to article...
Do you have any advice for preventing this?
Thanks!
