it’s very important for my project ??
]]>Hello!
I’ve got a problem – if the length limit is longer then title input, the counter overlaps the last characters of the title.
]]>I’v been using the latest classipress/wordpress/plugins version, all out of the box without custom code. And there is option in your plugin which should block ads per user type/role per day but it doesn’t work. Is there a way to fix this with code modification? Maybe you are not aware but there are realy many people on Classipress forum that will instantly purchase this mod since their sites are eaten by posting bots. Easy money!
]]>Hi, I would like to limit the amount of active posts a user can have published (status published), regarless a time limit. For instance, if the limit I stablish is 10 posts for a determined post type; and the user already has 10 posts publish.
If user moves to trash 3 of his posts, he’ll then have three new “slots” available to publish three newer posts.
This is regarless a time limit.
?Should I stablish my limit within 0 years o withing 9999 years?
Tks!
Great plugin
Thank you for nice plugin but it no works for vendors on woocommerce to limit product.
Please update or help me.
Thank you so much

I am trying to use the plugin when users submit properties directly in website without to have access to wp-admin.
Is it possible to insert the plugin with shortcode in the submit page template template-submit-property.php?
If users submit properties in wp-admin everything plugin works great, but I need users to submit properties withot access to wp-admin.
Thanks in advance!
I found a bug that makes the publish limit useless ??
Even if you limit the publish post, if you save a post as draft, you will still be able to publish it.
Also, if you open multiple windows and let the post expire so that it is saved as a draft, you will still be able to publish them all even if you reach the publish limit.
]]>Hi,
I understand this works on shortcodes. But it seems not working on Custom Post types not using shortcodes like WooCommerce. Any recommendation how to make it work?

Is there a way out to use it for custom roles?

1. I cannot add a new limit. Clicking the Add New Limit button does nothing.
2. The title reads Limit Posts 1.0.6 but, the (zip) file title says 1.0.9 which is the latest according to Changelog.
I just downloaded so I don’t know if existing limit rules still work in latest WP.
Anyone else?
Thx,
Jeff
would it be possible to change something so that instead of showing “You have exceeded your limit for this post type”, you could have the page redirect to another page.
any help would be amazing
thanks

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404
Everything required to add new rules to the plugin “Limit Posts” settings page will not load in a multisite wordpress installation…
EG:
Instead of loading assets from:
https://www.SubSiteDomain.com/wp-content/plugins/limit-posts/js/LimitPosts.js?ver=4.4.2
it loads from:
https://www.MainNetworkDomain.com/SubSiteDomain/wp-content/plugins/limit-posts/js/LimitPosts.js?ver=4.4.2
Which is incorrect for subdirectory site installations.
it should load from
https://www.SubSiteDomain.com/wp-content/plugins/limit-posts/js/LimitPosts.js?ver=4.4.2
this is just a wordpress compatibility best practices fix… it should be simple enough to implement.

Is there a short code different for Topics, Replies, etc. versus Posts?

Can we help to translate the following plugins?
Limit Posts

Is it possible to use both shortcodes on the same form like this?

]]>I just downloaded Limit-Posts and activated.
In the Settings->Limit Posts page, Chrome-Mac browser complains that the plugin is trying to load a css file using http while site is using https and therefore blocks the content. The Add New Limit button is not clickable because it appears Chrome has removed the link in the tag.
Hi,
This is a very useful plugin. I just wanted to share a few suggestions.
1. Lets say I set a limit on a user that they cannot publish more than 2 posts per day. When the user returns and tries to post the third post they cannot save the draft. It would be nice if users were able to save draft and not publish the posts.
2. On the settings page, when a user adds a setting it appears in the list of limits but it is not stored until a user clicks on the save changes button. Since the page looks a lot like any list page on WordPress (commens, posts, pages). The user may assume that their setting is already saved. It would be nice if the settings are automatically saved when user clicks the add button.
Thanks for this wonderful plugin.

Hi, I saw the other users support post about custom post types, but he was using ignition deck.
I’ve created a custom post type for subscribers to post, and I’d like to limit it to one post ever.
https://gyazo.com/8a37c35860e57674b59bf7bc44cd9bfa
The post type shows up in the limit posts section, but it does not limit the posts. Just want to check if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s not functionality that’s been added to the plugin.
Thanks.
]]>Hi thank you very much in advance for the time you spend for me.
I tried to use your plugin but doesnt work.
my site using the frameworks/plugins ignitiondeck (https://ignitiondeck.com/id/).
So users enter crowdfunding campaigns, that are “ignition_product” post type.
Do you know this frameworks/plugins?
Can you help me?
Dear,
would it be possible to create the plugin with not only a limit in time, but also with extra paying choices for the end user.
Let’s say….
5 posts for free
6-10 posts for 10€
11-20 posts for 20€
+20 posts for 50€ etc…etc…
So, it should work like this: When the 5 posts are reached, a page should pup up with a message providing the possibility to buy more posts. When user make his choice, he should be forwarded to the pay option. When paid, he should be able to continue post ads.
I would glady pay for a plugin with these option. As it is now, there is not 1 plugin who does the job and i tried many !!
Hope you can help.
Kindest regards
Gino

Hi there,
i’m getting this error at the top of the page, when a user is trying to create a post and he is already over his limit. Everything else works fine:
Notice: Undefined index: publish_action in C:\xamppnew\htdocs\kongress\wp-content\plugins\limit-posts\limit-posts.php on line 205
Thank you
