Does what it says on the tin, and lets you categorise and organise links.
If it was not for this nonsensical ‘rating’, and especially the output (a number value), which cannot be turned off, this would be 100% the plugin I require. Can this be fixed?

I am using wordpress multisite and also link manager at widgets for all the websites. I build nearly 15 web site with by using this plugin. now I haveto update eordpres 4.0.1 but Iam afrat to upgrade my websites.
I want to ask what can I use as alternative plugin to link manager?
Please advice me that ? can use on my websites like link manager.

The old link manager was very versatile and I am so glad this plugin brings it back! It is very easy to train people to use the link manager. You can use the images with the links in many ways and there is a variety of ways you can order the links.

I have a client who is much happier now that his links are back in service! Apparently, when we migrated his site to a new server (fresh install of WP 3.9.1 and import of WP tables) the links feature didn’t make the move. News to me!
All is well now. The plugin works perfectly.

Used to love, love, love this plug-in….I’m so sad it won’t work with WP 3.8.1
I have a collossal MESS – It has locked me out of deleting certain things on my website, or making changes – even though I deleted. My next step is to go into my hosting panel and look for any trace left over files.
I have my links printed in write type over my video on my home page – looks TERRIBLE.
Word to the wise – if you are a confident ‘amateur’ – test before you get a mess.
Anyone got any ideas? I had put my links in Widgets and I see them in Menu as well. But now I can’t delete them, or go in an move them —

When removing the link manager from WordPress 3.5 was discussed, it seemed that the actual functionality was to be removed, creating a leaner and cleaner WordPress. However, all that has happened it hiding the link manager with a simple option. This one-line plugin simply enables that option. It’s a step in the right direction, but I’d like to see a lot more.
