Hi, this plugin generally works well but there do seem to be some error scenarios which return
“You are making a not valid call”
after trying to login with LinkedIn.
This may be when:
– the user has changed their LinkedIn password
– a user already exists with that email address but was not originally created via the tool
Has anyone else experienced this and able to suggest workaround?
]]>Hello!
Thanks for you nice code ??
Just a question : I am trying to add a parameter to the redirect url but it seems to be refused by the plugin.
While my site’s main url is authorized in my LinkedIn Application, it should be possible to add some params, as this example : https://mysiteurl/?p=12 or https://mysiteurl/?redirect_after=other_url…
If there’s no parameters in the url, the authentication is OK, but with params it seems to genereate an error :
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$access_token in […]/plugins/linkedin-oauth/lib/functions.php on line 113
Error: No access token from Linkedin
And the URL seems unredirected also :
https://mysiteurl/?redirect_f4h=mysiteurl/my_original_page&code=%5BCODE%5D4&state=%5BSTATE%5D
I’m asking this to you because I need a way to redirect to another page than the home after the authentication (redirect to the page where the user tried to login originally).
Thanks in advance for your advice!

]]>Hi..
I’m using Shortcodes in Menu.. and I’m hoping that I can have your shortcode to just display “Login | Register”, and when a user is logged in, it will replace the words with “Logged In”
As an example, I tried LinkedIn Login, and that’s exactly what I’m looking for, but… it’s not working! ??
Yours is also the right thing, but need no button (or at least a very small button). I don’t want to use wp-login.php
