Hellol,
Thank you for making this plugin available – very interesting and could be very useful too!
I would like to create a website where members create their own link tree type page.
E.g sitenametr.ee/member1, sitenametr.ee/member2 etc
From what I understand this is not possible with LINKY plugin as only an editor can use it and perhaps it is only possible to to create one link tree type page per website. Please confirm.
If i can use this on multiple pages I will be a very happy camper!
Best

Hi,
I just loaded your plugin & the separator doesn’t work. The lines on either side of this heading.

Also, is there a way to increase the size of the avatar & text under the avatar? It looks terrible. I can’t even see my logo.
Thanks
I am a WordPress noob, but have mangled through most things so far! This one stumps me though.
I really want to use this Linky plugin over LinkTree but we do need someone else to be able to manage/control the links in it without giving them access to our entire site. I saw the post/response in a prior forum question from 2 years ago, but have no clue what to do with that snippet of code.
Where does it go? In my theme’s function.php file? If so, does this stick around when we apply theme updates? I did try putting it there and updating the file, but I got back a compile error stating “manage_links” is not defined and it rolled back the update.
Or has this feature been added to the plugin already in some other way?
Appreciate anyone’s help here!

There is a plan to make it multi-profile, to work with to more users at the same website?
Thank you!

it would be great to have Mastodon in the “Social”-Section ??

Hello Nicolas,
is it possible to add a social link for Bandcamp and a text field for a short description under the name.
What are the possibilities to enlarge the profile picture? 75×75 or 100x100px.
Thank you very much.
Hi Nicolas,
in the description of the plugin cou wrote that we can create an unlimited number of links. But for me it stops at 63 links and I have to delete existing links to be able to create new ones.
Any Idea!

Hey there,
I installed and set up the plugin. So far it looked nice in the backend.
But when I click on “view page” it ads wp-admin to the slug and page not found error. removing wp-admin from link doesn’t help.
I use Goya theme and all plugins are so far updated. I found similar issues, but solutions wouldn’t help because I don’t use the error causing plugins.
I hope you can help.

Hello!
I’m trying to remove the footer credits on my Linky page using the following code:
.linky-page footer.footer {display: none;}
I need this works using it inside the Additional CSS page of the WordPress customizer or in the Google Analytics setting of Linky, but I really need this to be implemented using the stylesheet of my child theme. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Since Google is moving Analytics to GA4, how should I set the Google Analytics Script on Linky Settings?
The only page Google is showing in my old analytics dashboard is Linky page.
can you add the option to upload a phone to the social media bar or make a custom icon slot where a user can upload their own icon and link?
Half-width buttons need some love:
Front-end Problem:
There’s no margin on buttons when they’re half-width so they squish up to whatever is before or after them.
Back-end Suggestion:
Shrinking the link’s settings and showing the stripes doesn’t really make sense since you can’t drag the links side-by-side in the config. I’d much rather see the full-width/half-width setting be more prominent and clearer wording/icons.
I have linky installed on two sites and on each, the page set up for linky has two

tags. The first titke is the page and then the second is the title of the page set as the blog’s “Posts page” in Settings > Reading.
Looking closer, it looks like it’s pulling in the metadata from the “Posts page” as well such as meta og:url and other things ??

I see that two people have already had this problem here. I went to Settings > permalinks and re-saved, but that didn’t help. I already had my links set to post name. I really DO NOT want to have to reinstall wordpress to get this working.
When I put in a slug, the view page button link looks like this: https://ktempestbradford.com/wp-admin/links
Even though it’s supposed to look like: https://ktempestbradford.com/links
Either way, I still get an Oops, Sorry Not Found error.
Any other tips for fixing this bug?

Bonjour,
Merci beaucoup d’avance !
I’m trying to change the avatar size to 100px and remove the “Linky plugin powered by Undefined” footer credit. I’m using a child theme, so all the customizations I try to do to Linky won’t work.
CSS I’m using in my child theme’s style.css file:
.linky-page .header__avatar {
width: 100px;
height: 100px;
}
.linky-page .header__avatar img { width: 100%; }
.linky-page footer.footer { display: none; }
The code I’m using in my child theme’s function.php file so the avatar won’t get stretched:
add_action('after_setup_theme', function() {
add_image_size( 'icon', 100, 100, false );
}, 11);
The problem is that I’m using a child theme since I noticed that the CSS does take effect if I use it in the theme’s customizer within the WP admin.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hi Nicolas,
How’s life? Long time. Glad you’re still here.
Is there a way to make Linky like a normal page? So just part of the normal layout with sidebars, headers and footers?
I hope so, let me know.
Best regards,
DelCKS
Hello,
I couldn’t find any information whether this plugin supports Multisite or not, as I’m currently planning my new project where I have to use Multisite.
Hi,
I saw in the latest update there were quite a few new social networks added for the social links at the top. I was wondering if I could request one more? Namely Ko-Fi. I think it’s being used as alternative to Patreon by quite a few creators (including me).
Also, would it be possible to set the order of the social links ourselves? So we can put the most important ones at the front?
Thanks for reading this.
My website theme and other plugins require me to use plain links, but the slug link only works when I have permalink settings set to “post name” which breaks Elementor, my portfolio galleries, etc. Is there a way I can use this plugin with permalinks set to plain?
Also I would like to be able to add multiple defined social media (for instance 2 or 3 instagram accounts, Facebook pages accounts, etc). As an artist with different types of work I have different accounts for branding purposes.
Additionally, I’d like to see the following services added to social:
Amazon Store
BentBox
OnlyFans
eBay
OfferUp Marketplace
Facebook Marketplace
Flicker
GuruShots
LifeFramer
ViewBug
500px
Reddit
Vocal.Media
Quora
Flipboard
Digg
Mix
AirBnB
I just shared my Linktree in a WhatsApp group, and the “preview” was quite ugly.
Maybe there might be a way to integrate Linky with Yoast, so that you can customize it? If the Linktree would show up with the “normal pages” it would probably work with Yoast.
Anyway, thanks for your work and for creating this great plugin! ??
Hi Nicolas!
I really like the plugin, there is really just one thing that I still miss: An Email-Button for the Social Menü (and perhaps also one for Signal) and maybe the option to reorder them.
Thanks for your great work and for making my life easier!
PS: I’ve made about 100 suggestions for the German translation, idk what the process for “getting them approved” is, maybe you could have a look at it? ??
How to change the avatar size?
Hi. Love the plugin, thanks a lot for it.
I’m sorry if this has been asked before but I did a search on the forums and didn’t get any results.
Is it possible to set my homepage to the linky page? It’s the only thing I need and don’t really want to have to make people memorise and extra slug.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I started using Linky today and it really looks like a nice and powerful plugin. I did have 2 questions and was wondering if there’s a way I can change this:
1: Is it possible to have the header avatar and name shown somewhat bigger? I feel perhaps this could get a bit more attention to people visiting the page?
2: Is it possible to have the link URL also shown in the buttons, instead of just the name? Would be even better if it was possible to show the links and have them be a different color compared to the main title.
Thanks
