Hello,
I use this plugin and I as wondering if there was any chance to add pagination to attachments list? I get +100 documents attached to a page and I’d love to display 10 documents per page to avoid scrolling.

I see there is not too much people on this support but does anybody could help me?

Is there a way to call the list of attachments by specific post id? That way I could call multiple groups of attachments specifically on a page.

I uploaded a large number of attachments to a page in 2 groups. The shortcode I used is [list-attachments order=”asc”]. The attachment list is ordering correctly within the upload group but the two groups have not intermixed. I entered a word in the “description” field when I uploaded the second group but do not want to use groupby now. I tried adding groupby=false and the list only returned 1 item, no idea how it picked that one.

First of all, nice job!

Second, I think it should be added some features to this plugin to actually make it useful:

I’m thinking of the opportunity to show the documents as a thumbnail (for example u can add a setting called “listtype” text or img for example) and also there should be a setting for the thumbnailsize for the documents.

Also I think there should be a change to the view of the imagecaption. Today the plugin shows first the documents description and then the documents title underneath, shouldn’t it be the other way around? Easier to understand I think…

Also it would be very nice if you could add settings for the total view. Im focusing on making it possible to list items (3 in a row or maybe even 10 in a row).

It would also be nice to add some CSS-style directly in WordPress plugin settings.

Ofc this needs a bit of coding, but if you think you could consider this it would’ve been awesome!

Nice plug-in!
I am however having an issue with grouping attachments. When I add the groupby=”post_content” into the page, I only get one attachment per group, even though there are multiple attachments that have the same description?
Any ideas?

When I use the [list-attachments] shortcode, it works fine. However, it only seems to display a portion of the attachments. If I do a groupby in the code, it even further limits what is displayed… how can I get it to display all of the attachments, even if they scroll beyond the bottom of the window?

Just tried this plugin out as an alternative to a similar one. I need to list about 40 attachments on a page of our website. Unfortunately the list does not display on an iPhone. Might also be related to the WP Touch plugin?

Is there any way to display the type of file using the ‘List Attachments Shortcode’ plugin? Perhaps the file extension or a descriptive file type in brackets after each file…?
