Would it be possible to add support for an “{editor}” field in the template, that displays the name of the person who most recently made changes to the entry? In some contexts, that may be much more meaningful/useful information than the original author.
]]>Installed the latest List Last Changes update and it crashed my site. Had to go in and turn off all the plugins to get it back. Now the List Last Changes won’t load. Get the following error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘|’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /home/websitename/public_html/wp-content/plugins/list-last-changes/list-last-changes.php on line 231
LOVE this plugin – hope it gets fixed soon.
]]>When the plugin, WordPress Hide Posts, is installed and activated, every single post gets added to the exclude list. The call to get_posts()
just returns all the posts instead of what it should.
Pages are unaffected.
I fixed it by changing line 76 of list-last-changes.php to $excludePosts = array();
Posts are still ignored per WordPress Hide Posts’s rules.
The “Link to the page you need help with:” included in this post is that of the conflicting plugin page. It’s not my page.
]]>Nice little plugin, however there’s a problem: when you call get_posts() on line 76 to find out which ones to exclude, the default is to only return 5 and hence you can only exclude 5 posts. Need to add the parameter for ‘numberposts’ => -1 to get all the excluded posts.
Not sure if the same problem will apply to excluding pages as I only discovered this issue while trying to exclude posts.
Hallo Roland,

Alex
Hey, we are using the https://woffice.io/ theme with special page types named as wiki. so the plugin is showing only changes of standard posts and standard pages but not about custom types. is there a way to integrate this into the plugin functionality?
]]>Hello Ronald B?r,
We do the central hosting for 30 WordPress sites with local webmasters who can manage their own site, content en plugins. We used a plugin “Site Last Modified”, but it has been removed from www.ads-software.com. So we are looking for a new alternative. We simply want only the Last Modified date from a site in the footer of the site, for instance as a Widget or a variable. The last date from the posts and the pages together.
Your plugin/widget List Last Changes comes close to that!
You still have an option to show or hide the author.
Can you also make an option to show or hide the pagetitle?
So the local webmaster can choose if they only want to show the Last Modified Date (Number=1) or show some more data.
There is another alternative, the plugin WP Last Modified Info (active installations 20.000+), who can do it. But it has so much more options we do not use, so it is more difficult for our webmasters. Your widget is just simple to use and to explaine to our local webmasters!
Kind regards,
Richard de Boer
Hello!
I like this plugin, but when there’s an update I frequently like to look at more of the changelog than the last entry.
I’ve seen some plugins include a link to the changelog.txt when they refer users there. I’m not sure that’s practical in this case, but if it is that would be helpful (to me, at least).
Specifically, when I’m logged in to the WordPress website and look at the installed plugins, and then click on the “View Details” link for this plugin, it shows information about the plugin, including a tab for Changelog. There, for “Older releases” it says, “see changelog.txt”. If a link might be added for the changelog.txt so that the user can click to get there instead of manually browsing to the trunk code, that’d be handy.

Thanks in advance for considering it!
]]>Hello!
I’m using the “Motif” theme and have this widget in the “Main Sidebar” along with several others, such as “Custom HTML”, “Image”, and some from other plugins.
All the other widgets, by default, have the same size and style text for the widget title, but this one is different. It appears bold / darker than the rest. For the sake of consistency, I’d like it to look the same as the others, and was surprised that that wasn’t the default setting.
Is this easily changed? Would it be helpful if I provide more information? If you’d like a link to the WordPress site, I’d prefer to share that separately.
Thanks again!
]]>Hi,
I’m not able to exclude pages from the list.
I’m looking for the Screenoption as told so:
Open the page or post you want to exclude for editing.
Open the “Screen Options” (on the top right of the page)
Ensure that “Custom Fields” is checked (see Screenshot #3)
In the “Custom Fields” further down the screen add the following custom field (see Screenshot #4):
name: list_last_changes_ignore
value: true
To include it again set the value to false or remove the custom field completely.
What do I miss?
Wordpress 5.2.3
See example:
https://www.sunpage.nl/he/nieuw-en-aangepast-2/
I would like to exclude the very first artikel

]]>Hi
On the home page, I have a list last changes widget in page builder plugin (Rocked theme)
List last changes stopped working yesterday (wordpress 5.2.0). The page is invisible (body).
Only the header and footer is shown. The entire page builder is invisible.
Afer update wordpress to 5.2.1 nothing happened, it’s the same.
I had to disable list last changes plugin.
Hi there, I would love to have an area on my homepage, “What’s New?” and then have a list of the latest changes I’ve made to pages/posts. Can your plugin be used on a page with a shortcode?
]]>A problem has cropped up. I have been adding page categories to most of my pages over the past few days so the Page Updated date does not currently reflect significant changes to content. Hopefully this will improve as the weeks go by.
Would it fit in with the purpose of this plugin to offer the option of using the Date Published (i.e. date that page the website administor sets as date created). I already use this for my RSS feeds. It enables me to create feed lists that reflect significant new content on the website.
]]>Hi,
On my webpage, I installed this plugin.
I like, it is simple, but just what I want.
I have 1 small thing i would like to change, but can’t find the solution where to do it.
I activated your plugin in my “Footer Widget 1”.
For your information, I use Generatepress () as my theme for WordPress.
When I go to Theme Customiser for the widgets in that footer area, I can change a few colors:
Background, Text, Link, Link Hover and Widget Title.
But when looking to my own page, with the colors changed, there is 1 color I can’t change: the dates behind the pages appear in grey and i don’t see anywhere an option to change that.
Is that color fixed in the program code of the plugin? Or where is the plugin getting that colorcode from?
Thank you.
