Want to hide the Live summary on firt page of the form
]]>Hi there
I am struggling to make this work.
I have 4 product fields in my form, only 2 of which are shown and applied to the total price at one time. My form logic is working in this respect. When a prod variation is picked, two of the 4 product fields show and those 2 prices are added to the total, which includes the price of the variation.
when I select a different variation, the form conditional logic will switch to the other 2 product fields, hiding the first pair. So I am always applying 2 products to the form and to the cost of the variation.
The problem I have is that, I have the live summary showing alongside this form, tracking the users choices – its very nice for this. It shows fields I choose and adds prices together to form a total. I have lots of examples of this working very well.
For this product however, if the users chooses 1 of the product variations and sees a pair of the additional product fields in the summary, then changes to another variation, the other 2 product fields show but the first two do not hide. The prices are working (so its not counting all 4, just the proper 2) but the summary now shows all 4 products, when only 2 are visible in he form and 2 are adding a price to the total.
Thanks a lot
joe
]]>Hello, I am trying to display the price of a product in the live summary receipt next to the label. I noticed with version 2 of pro there is an action that I think(?) does this but have had no luck implementing it.
gform.addFilter("gotrls_display_option_price", function (includeOptionPrice, formId, fieldId) {
return true;
});
Currently on the frontend I get this Phone Taxes *: Taxes However Im trying to get Phone Taxes *: {price}
]]>Hello, is it possible to translate the head columns in the live summary? I installed Loco plugin but there seems no option to translate the fields in the summary.
]]>Hi
I have a problem … Cross fingers that you can help me… In my form a have a radiobutton with two options “delt” and “udelt” and some hidden fields with default value that will display using conditional logic. The problem is that if i choose “delt” and change it to “udelt” it will display all the hidden fields connected both to delt and udelt in the Summary, that will change to the correct setting but only AFTER i go to next page?? I hope it makes sense…
]]>Hi,
The summary function is not functioning properly.
When I select an option on the form, the summary does not appear.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
]]>I have a multi step form & i would like to show the summury on last page above submit button only. I liked your current layout as well , but that changes the form layout.
]]>Hello Live Summary Developers,
I have a quick question that I hope someone can help me with.
I am currently using the free version of the live summary plugin and I was wondering if it is possible to add dropdown options directly onto the live summary instead of using a separate dropdown label. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or insight on this matter.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
]]>Hi,
I use GP Nested Forms and I would like to know how can I display the fields that are inside in Nested Forms in Live Summary that is inside the Parent Form?
Thank you

]]>Hi, in my forms there are dynamically populated select fields that get their options from external tables. The first option is always empty, is there a way to hide these fields from the summary if they are empty?
Cheers,

Hey,
Just to sumit up. I need “Checkboxes not showing in summary” solution.
I realiase your plugin does not currently support checkboxes but you said you might have a solution. Solution you explained at 5er was too complicated for me and I appreciate your help getting this work.
Let me know if you need login details as I am not sure how safe (public or not) to paste it here.
]]>Hi.
I’m so glad this summary solution exists, but I have a problem.
The summary is empty. It’s turned on in the settings and also in each field i have on my form, but the summary is still empty. I’m using the latest GF version.
]]>Hi there Johan, congratulations for this work, a great plugin!
But I have a problem with the translation using loco translate. I would like to change the headline “Summary” (div.gotrgf_summary_title) and “TOTAL”.
Your plugin is correctly identified by loco translate as “live-summary-for-gravity-forms”. But I can only translate the Description of the plugin, the Author, the name and the class-gravitysummaryaddon.php – e.g. “msgid “Set this switch to on to show a live summary next to the form”. There is no text “Summary” or “Total” as shown in the frontend.
Thanks a lot in advance
Phil
The figure it shows me does not take the comma into account. and if I enter a value of 15.66 € it reads as 1566.00 €. how do I solve this?
]]>Hi, I noticed that the summary always shows the date fields in the mm/dd/yyyy format, even though the input field is dd/mm/yyyy. Of course this can be confusing to the users, is there any way to display the summary with the same format?
Thanks
]]>Hi, congratulations, I really like this plugin! The only thing I would change is the loading of the informations in multipage forms: currently, when I switch to a next page, the summary appears empty, only when I fill in one of the fields on the new page it shows everything. Would it be possible to show immediately all the informations already entered? Or is there a field we can insert to ask for the summary to be updated?
Thanks a lot!
Nicola
Hi there!
I think this is a great plugin idea, well done!
In my forms I often use the Nested Forms add-on from Gravity Wiz. It would be great if support for that could be included.
Cheers,
Phil
And I am not seeing the summary. Where you say to check the box to enable summary I see nothing. Maybe because it is an older version? I am happy to upgrade the version for this client, but would love to see it working if possible.
Here is the form: https://mafrazier.com/year-round-trash-removal-signup/
It is the last two drop down fields with the conditional logic that I have enabled the Summary on. Thanks much, looks like you have a great plugin here! Dave
]]>Hi! Fantastic plugin here.
The 1.0.6 update causes the summary box to stop working for me. Rolling back to 1.0.5 makes everything work again.
]]>Thanks for this. Just testing it out now. Would love to see unique classes or IDs on the summary lines from what the user selects, inputs etc. Would allow for unique styling in the summary.
