I’m managing several online stores for my clients and whenever they need some online tool allowing them to communicate with their own customers, LiveChat is the way to go.
Glad to see that they’ve expanded their list of plugins with EDD – the installation through a plugin may not be a substantially easier than doing it through adding code manually but it surely saves some time. And yet again I don’t need to personally modify the code with JS to include some of the chat window features that other chat providers are lacking. One click and, without my custom development, I can see the cart details right during a chat, which is great! Looking forward to see more from your guys – maybe some additional options that are normally available through JS?

Really good and dead-easy to use live chat plugin. I appreciate that, even though the company (LiveChat) provides you with the open JS-API documentation, some of the options that are available with JS API have been included directly within the plugin itself. Basically you do not have to dabble in the code, saving the time for configuring the live chat account itself.
Also, the possibility to refresh the cart’s value, based on an AJAX call, is kinda awesome – not overloading the resources of my server is always a nice touch when using additional assets.
I also like the fact that, after setting up the account with LiveChat, there are some additional apps within the software itself, so I can for example integrate the chat window with my Facebook page and Hubspot CRM – awesome sauce!
Looking forward to see how the plugin (and the software) will develop in the future – for now I’m glad I have chosen LiveChat! Wishing thought that they would either redesign or slightly change their ticketing system. It’s OK (I guess) but it’s missing some of the useful features available on the market.
